Thank you for sharing! I had a similar experience with step 1. My local test center canceled all exams the week of my exam, so I had to rebook at a different location and stay overnight in a hotel the night before. Despite my best efforts to sleep well (I literally brought my fan from home etc) I still only slept a few hours that night. And it all ended up ok :) it is comforting to know from other people that even if things don’t go our ideal way it always works itself out in the end! Best of luck to you on your journey :)

Thanks for sharing your experience with Step 1! It must have been so stressful hearing that from your testing center and having to travel for your exam. I'm so glad to hear it all worked out. Best wishes on your journey as well. :)

Thanks for sharing. I'm a firm believer that there's no one size fits all . Yep, it might be wiser to get good sleep, but there are people who will ace the exams without good sleep.

Good luck! I would say focus on your med school classes and doing well on those first of all for a good foundation. When I was at that stage, I used Sketchy for Pharm and Micro, and I used Pathoma along with pathology. I used UWorld and made it through an entire first pass, and I also did one full NBME practice exam. In an ideal world, I would have done more NBME forms. I also used First Aid here and there, but mostly during dedicated to review concepts I got incorrect. I hope this helps!
