Thank you for watching my I smoked a brisket with everything bagel seasoning and this happened video. On this video, I smoked a whole prime brisket using mayo as a binder and then I generously seasoned the brisket using everything bagel seasoning from SPQR. I then added layer of 16 mesh black pepper on the brisket and smoked it on my Yoder YS640 pellet smoker. The pellets I used are a new pellet on the market make from 100% pecan shells! These pellets are new to the market and the amount of smoke theses pecan shell pellets released was second to none. I also used less pellets because of the amount of BTU's being released. The flavor of the pecan shell pellets was smoky and nutty which I absolutely loved! This everything bagel seasoned brisket was insane delicious and something I would recommend.

So does the fact you use the shells to make the pellets transfer the allergens to the smoke? I’m highly allergic to pecans but can use pecan wood without issue.

No, I rinsed it well, but it wasn’t too salty. It was garlic heavy if anything. But I like that.

Doing a 15 lb packer overnight tonight on my YS640 with the everything bagel rub. Can't freaking wait. It's amazing on a roast as well....FYI. Can't wait for supper tomorrow! I'll do 180 for 12 hours, wrap in paper at 165-170 to push through the stall to be resting in the cambro around 2pm for when the kiddos get home from school. Can't wait. Never thought of that rub on a brisket. Keep up the good work and love your channel!

I made this last week. Lightly salted and wrapped in plastic wrap overnight, then seasoned with the SPQR + pepper, then cooked until 195 (no wrap) on my pellet smoker w/ smoke tube (first 5 hours), then held in turkey roaster at 150 overnight. Came out great...thanks for the new seasoning suggestion!

I've done a brisket a few times with the HEB "everything but the bagel" seasoning, it required some additions for a good crust. The flavor is so unique from a SPG brisket. Great video, absolutely love all your content!

Man I’ve always wondered how that seasoning would be on a brisket! Thanks for experimenting and now I for sure have to try it! Also this might be the best looking brisket I’ve seen on your channel. Another awesome video brother! Beautiful looking brisket, great moisture, great smoke ring...beautifully cooked. I don't recall if I've seen you do any long rests after the cook? ie, letting the unwrapped brisket come down to about 180°~170° and then resting at low temp for 8 to 12 hours? ....it's really next level.

I loved the video,as I love all of your videos. I do a LOT of bbq myself, but have never used mayo as a binder. Does the far in mayo add some richness?
