Have a 4.1 brooker fisherman you may want to buy , side console, 40 Ho suzuki 4 stroke ,plenty of storage ,rod locker,live tank ,casting platform etc etc

I think most bottom bashing charters would be of this sort. It was just a pity the swell and chop was huge

Dragon snappers, old boot, butchers pricks, morwongs, sweep. Cleaned up all the throw back fish. a soft plastics rod would have given you a chance on some snapper

Haha Chris you nailed it on the head, there were a number of flatties but only on the last drift. I was hoping for a decent snapper, I wonder how I would have fared with lure gear

@@ShroomFishing The larger snapper vary rarely take bait - a 5inch streakz curly tail in pearl 5/0 hook 3/8oz is dynamite on large reds. 5in & 7in Shad’s work well too. Got a 70cm last week & an 81cm the week before all on the streakz out of port hacking - if you click my profile the last vid is the 81cm.

Good on yah, Shroom, for making his 50th birthday special! I was on that same charter boat a couple of weeks ago and all we caught were those pesky Sargent Bakers 😢😂. We also had huge swell like you did!

Hey Alan, I’ve only been on a few charters so I don’t feel I can advise on what’s good out there as I’ve only got a small pool to base my experience on. It also depends on what style of fishing and species you want to catch because there’s a lot of different ones

Lol how cut was the guy just because you snuck onto the boat lol, the undercover gear probably didnt help though. Maybe I'm expecting too much but if I was paying hundreds for a charter I would sort've be expecting better fish but I've never been on one so not sure whats the go with them... could've casted land based in that spot and had equal feed.

I've only been on a few different charters, ones that do bottom bashing so I sort of knew what to expect. Maybe not intended for the experienced angler that seeks the sport in fishing but I can see how it would be a good fit for someone that had no opportunity to go offshore and have a realistic chance at catching their own fish and get a feed from it. I was happy to just get out, just a pity it was rough

@@ShroomFishing I've never been on such a boat but when you revealed yourself to Adam the boat was almost looking like it was going to flip lol. Sucks about the ticket, I think they do really long payment plans for them if you'd rather not pay it in one hit.

But yeah I wouldn't actively hire one as I love to choose my own spot and way of fishing All thanks to experience I've gained following you and others. I find that more rewarding and I've like you spent enough on lures we might as well use them

Yeah mate was a great session! I found it interesting that I was using a cheaper hard body version of the Tiemko cicada and I was the only one catching! Maybe Adam's still learning😆

Good lesson for any of the young lads. Never do a fishing charter on a boat with more than 4 people and/or water over 20 metres.

Just a tip if you want to book a fishing charter never book enough people to fill the boat so if boat says you can have 10 people just go with 8 or they do get crowded

G'day mate , good to see me Thursday fix ! Have to tell ya , yesterday at me bass spot hooked and played a bass that woulda been me new PB , was pushing 50 ! No net and 10lb leader . Tried to lift it and leader snapped . Was a heavy big model ! And reports from mates today are all positive . Even dropped another big girl today . Love it . 👍🎣✔

Hey Shroom it's birthday boy again. I caught my 1st jewfish today it was a juvenile. I thought it was an EP but saw the dots on the side. But wait there's more. 10 mons later another Jewfish. Around 40cms. Caught it on a savage gear TPE shrimp at Berowra Waters. My mate Matt from the charter video got 2 EPs on a cicada. We were in kayaks. Still buzzing. Shroom your magic has rubbed off onto us. Sorry for slamming your head into boat pillar.

Ahahah I went on the exact same Boat!! Passed out too rocky. Wasted 4 hours sea sick almost died Ahahaha and 1 hour of fishing when we returned to the bay area.
