I am the new owner of the old lb7 and I absolutely love the truck, and I have plans for it.

Congratulations to the family and to the new truck. I understand exactly what you mean. I also have a daughter who is 3.5 years old and a son who is 7 months old. It will be exciting to follow the new project.

Loved the LB7, but I definitely understand, my kids are old enough now that they come with me to events, this year I’ve hooked my LB7 to a sled 8 times and still have a few more events to go too. I have some friends that pull with L5Ps and they do so well you definitely need to try it at least ones. Congratulations tho

I did the opposite.. went from a 2017 LTZ to a 2007 LBZ. I am trying to do as much as I can before my wife and I have kids because I know ill have no time. But congrats on the new rig and cant wait to see how it turns out!

I went from a lbz to a 19 l5p Denali. These trucks are amazing. I currently have a banks derringer and banks intake. The truck has awesome power but I’m currently looking into Ppei tuning. Give them a peek.

what kind of wheels and tires set up are you looking, 24x14 or 22x12 and wheel brands are you looking at. I love American Forces!!

Having just done the same and going from an LB7 to an LML its a total different world of Duramax. Vane turbos act very different than fixed. Dutamaxtuners has good emissions compliance switch on the fly tunes (thru HP tuners). Agreed those wheels gotta go.
