Prodigal didn't walk away from his inheritance, he took his inheritance with him. - and he wasted it; - on riotous living. And when he had nothing, he went back home. His father saw him a long way off, and ran out to meet him, and kissed and welcomed him home. Amen. But one thing, his inheritence he wasted, - he didn't get it back; it was gone.

Actually, the prodigal figured he *didn't* belong, but thought perhaps that he could become a servant in his father's estate and at least get some food that way.

Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation. Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation. A prayer of commitment saves nobody. Making Jesus Lord and Master of your life is a lifetime of works and has never saved anyone or contributed in any way to salvation. Furthermore, nobody has ever been saved by giving their life to Christ. That is bartering your life for salvation. Nobody has ever been saved by surrendering their will. Nobody has ever been saved by making a commitment. Nobody has ever been saved by promising to follow Jesus. Nobody has ever been saved by picking up their cross. Nobody has ever been saved by repenting of their sins. Nobody has ever been saved by loving God. Those are works of service and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. That means to put all of your confidence (trust) in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.

Aside from shopping, which I pretty much only buy food and essentials. I have never had a whole lot of money, and only make $13.50 an hour. I am also not LGBTQIA, which is also why I was silenced.

Powerful story but the narrators voice is nauseating.

I dont think she really knows about the gospel. Its not about good works, its about the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Going to churh doesent mean anything. I never hear about repentance in any of these videos. This is not the love that Jesus preached about, he preached more about hell warning us about the fate that we face if we dont repent. God commands men everywhere to repent.
