I disagree with you. When you live in and take part in a society you cannot do what you please. You have a responsibility to the collective. In the UK you could not run an operation like Silas does across the pond. All scrap yards here must be on hard standing and all vehicles must be drained of fluid and disposed of in accordance with ELV regulations. Failure to comply results in a heavy fine. So no you cannot do what you want

@@nickjervis8123 he’s not talking about that, he’s meaning Salis paid for them he can strip them, cut them up, torch them, shred them, part them out, if he pleases. People in comments are always telling him what not to do with them.

Sure could get used to seeing so many videos a week! I know it is hard work, which you already have an abundance of. I enjoy your videos dear, if you can only get a couple out every week that will be fine. Anyone that watches your channel for any time can see you have more work than you can shake a stick at. Glad you found some more change, better in your pocket than the crusher. Stay warm in this weather coming through. Oklahoma is expecting ice and upwards of 8 inches of snow. That's an adventure I could take a pass on, lol. Stay safe and GOD bless

A second recommendation to check the rear axle vent. Push a wire (coat hanger wire or a little thinner) through the vent hole. I have a F150 with a 9 inch axle that had a leaking seal problem - the vent hole was not drilled all the way through. I am enjoying your content Russ

Afternoon Silas, that Red Chevrolet tanker truck is either a 366 or 427 BB Chevrolet, these are "truck" engines, back in the 1980's we would use the 427 block from these trucks to make stroker motors, now with the crate motors....scrap the whole thing... Be safe, God Bless!!

Hey Silas, you know me, I just like looking at all the old pickups. That bluish one is cool. Like that flat nose. I like it when you open the hood and show the motor. I ask my husband what it is and usually knows. That 361 kinda had him but he thought it was a 360-something. Stay warm. That chill starts Thursday for us. Went to the coast to drain the water well tank and blow all the water out of the lines. Gonna be cold down there too. For us anyway.

Those old dump trucks- the red one with the automatic also has a radio delete plate thats a little rare. The old yellow one has an air brake rear end? Thats also really rare. You wouldn't think it would be but they are. I had a single axle with air brakes that had a housing get ruined from spun bearings. I looked across 5 states to find one and never did. I ended up spending 1500$ to get the housing rebuilt. It's the medium duty ford with the f series cab with air brakes that makes it different. Louisville cabs have different rears, and hydraulic brake trucks are differwnt too(couldnt convert one I checked) . You'll probably sit on it a while but when the guy that needs it finds it he'll pay up- after he hunts high n low lol ...I'd say its worth what the rest of the truck will bring in scrsp at least. Thanks for sharing

I like how you appreciate having roots. The history of where you grew up. My father was career Air Force, in a highly specialized unit that forced us to move, constantly. I lived in 11 states and 2 countries from 4 to 17. My answer growing up to "where you from?" was always 'No where" I often envy folks like you who was born and raised in one spot. Now that i am in my 50's The thought of going somewhere else makes me sick. But I am selling my house this summer and moving a tad bit further south in Alabama. This will be my last move the rest of my life. No kids so at least I know that move will not affect anyone but myself.
