Imagine waking up naked, building a whole settlement while making new friends, just so that after you sleep on the hundredth day you find yourself in a completely different place or even timeline. None of your the previous person you met are there, only you and yourself.

Protip: a pawn has an insulting spree, that every other pawns it has access to is either unconscious or sleeping, and if its schedule is sleep and its rest level is below a certain level (I think 70%) then it will just go to sleep and stop its insulting spree, still gaining the catarsis buff. In effect, for small colonies, it means you can often stop an insulting spree just by telling all your colonists to take a nap.

@@Ren3gaid Basically, pawns can't insult other pawns if other pawns are awake and reachable. Pawns will stop an insulting spree if they go to sleep. If a pawn has nobody to insult, that they need to sleep and that their schedule tells them to sleep, them they will go to sleep and stop being on a mental break. I actually found out since then that sometimes just blocking access to everyone is enough to stop the insulting spree. I think it's because there are actually a few variants of the insulting spree mental break.

Do you not have to do the standard 'damage before down' so it increases the catch rate? I love these videos bro, keep it up

It does! Better pokeballs help too. In my experience downing a mon before trying to catch it with high end pokeballs works best, but trying to catch a downed mon with a lower tier ball risks it dying. Failing to catch a downed mon raises the chance of it dying on the next try.

I would like the mod to make all people pacifists. That way attacking and defending, you are forced to use the pokemon. Give the pokemon a toggle on battle control as well.

Vanilla expanded series is a great place to start. Check the workshop and grab anything that looks interesting. Most VE mods are designed to work with the base game balance and work fine with or without other mods. I recommend VFE Ancients for a fun alternate way to play the game. It adds Fallout style vaults and an interesting system for super powers.

I just noticed something about these videos I've loved watching for a while and i might have to stop now lol. Essentially all this is is just 30 minutes of a monotonous list of 'and a raid, and a daze from silver, and a transpod crash, and a blastoise is on the map, and a blight, and an ancient danger, and a murderous rage,' and so on. He doesn't even really ever use another formulation other than 'and a ...'

What I gather from these videos is that you playstyle is really aggressive on mental break perspective. Só os mine, It did get fixed when I started applying a double sleep method tho. I'd recomend you do that same! Adam vs Everything has a detailed vídeo about if you want the science behind the method!

Why do you think the pyromaniac trait is so bad? In reality it's completely neutral because you should be keeping your colonist from mental breaking in the first place and even if you do he just sets a couple fires that a single colonist can extinguish immediately causing no real damage.

He will every now and then set items and workstations on fire which wastes alot of time for at least 2 colonists, no need for a mental break

You need to give them an incindrary launcher if possible. Unless your story is mechanoid based
