So to explain the chest in the end disappearing, the game resets the obsidian platform every time a player loads into the end so that way they dont just fall to their deaths, when it resets the platform it removed the chest and set the items to the center of the platform, similar to how if a chest is broken inside the end portal it will spawn at your spawn in the overworld

Endermen occasionally spawn in with grass blocks which is another way you can get grass in this kind of situation, but I really admire your clever use of version-hopping throughout the video. Good stuff!

Using an end portal breaks all blocks in the end starting room. The chest broke (not deleted) and you picked up its contents.

Idk if it's true but supposedly if you stand within 3 blocks of a witch they will automatically throw a weakness potion at you cuz their ai is set to associate that distance with melee combat or something. the reason you got teh item was because the chest got destroyed when you came though and the old version thought it was normal chest destruction so the items dropped and since they are considered entities the stayed when you came in the portal hope this helps

I love your pace, your style, and the effort you make to bring the most interesting ways to dealing with the challenges you propose. On top of that, your builds are amazing. I usually put these king of videos as a background while I work or do other stuff, but I got 100% focused in the entirety of this video. Dude, I have ADHD. Do you know how hard it is to make me watch something and give it my full attention? There are 10 minutes videos that I need to put at 2x speed and even then I’m bored in the first minute.
