In today's video, I'm showing you guys my journey of How I Spent 100 HOURS of my life Shiny Hunting for THIS single Pokemon! Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl came out almost ONE YEAR ago now, and when I started Brilliant Diamond specifically, I set out to shiny hunt a shiny starter Chimchar in the beginning of the game. To shiny hunt a starter pokemon in Pokemon BDSP, you have to watch the long cutscene at the start EVERY single time you want to get a chance at a shiny starter pokemon. These shiny hunting resets can take anywhere from 1 minute and 45 seconds, to 2 minutes depending on how fast you go, which makes for an incredibly long shiny hunt. Even after all that, I was still determinded to get my shiny starter chimchar in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond. After resetting my Pokemon game 3,614 times, shiny hunting for over 100 hours of my life, and almost a full year later from when I started this hunt, I FINALLY FOUND my shiny starter chimchar on BDSP!
