I've decided to hunt for a shiny living dex in Pokemon scarlet and violet! That means that I need to collect all 392 of the Pokemon that are available to catch shiny in Paldea!
This is the result of the first 150 hours I spent shiny hunting in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet!

If you look at shinies battled and it randomly increased at some point then you missed somehing

@@demopan1067you can’t auto battle shiny Pokémon so I believe if you’ve battled one and missed one you’re either incredibly unlucky or been distracted elsewhere ahaha

Missing a shiny is almost a guarantee. Even if you spot and catch every shiny you see, you’ll probably still miss a shiny ditto/zorua because they don’t disguise themselves as a shiny in the overworld

I love that because unlike in Legends you don't get a sound to play when a shiny spawns, the basic reaction to a shiny here is to look at it for a moment and just think "are you a shiny?"

shiny flabebe has the more unchanging shiny, while its evos have clear color changes to their stem

Fun Fact: Nacli is based on Salt (NaCl) but it's shiny appears to be based on Sylvin, a similar mineral to Halit, but it's yellow-ish and is KCl.

This must have taken a while, but it seems like you had fun shiny hunting in Scarlet or Violet! Also, unfortunately that Dratini you have shown off in this video is shiny. It's pink, and it's right there... Hopefully you can get it soon.

5:47 :O indeed. Under full odds, that I believe has a 1 in 40,960 chance to happen, with a full odds shiny being 1 in 4,096, & the Rare mark being 1 in 1,000. I repeat, :O indeed. I know, it's probably not full odds. But if it is, that's SUPER lucky. Nice job. 👏👏👏

I had flashbacks to last year in Legends Arceus seeing that shiny Teddiursa. I spent 2 months hunting it before the daybreak update. I got 2 Shiny H. Zoroark before i even got 1 Teddi. I was so frustrated because Ursaluna was one of the Hisuian shinies i wanted the most, tied with the starters and Zoroark.

I knew shinies would be easy in this game when I went right after beating the first gym leader in order to go to cortondo and found a shiny shinx with 1 badge, I would go on to get four full odds shinies during playthrough including a brute bonnet at the end.

honestly if you're having a lot of fun completing a shiny living dex i recommend even going for a shiny living FORM dex!
