that's an anomaly thing in general, you know the lab in yantar? in the room with all the switches and the brain there's a spawn down at the bottom for artifacts and anomalies of the chemical variety and once you've cleared that place it's easy enough to get to and you can fast travel out if you don't want to run through all the pipes but obviously at a cost in gamma

@@1djhelix Well yeah there's the army medkit (blue), the scientific one (yellow) that are much better. Then stimpacks, field kits etc... but basic medkit is king!

Yes and no. They will fire the broken gun, just as you can. But no, it does affect them the same. Give a rifle to a companion and you'll notice them never ever shooting several bursts in succession. This is because it jams for them as well. The stats matter

I've been using the saiga and an svd for so long, I can't even remember anything else. I think I had the SVT 40 as a first gun and kept it until switching to svd

@@leonardosousa297 Long time since I touched Vanilla Anomaly. My answer would be, there is no "correct" loadout, it depends on where you attempt to do what. In open levels you'll need long range capability, plus short range/CQC and mutant killing. Since I don't think you can use your knife slot in Vanilla Anomaly for a Pistol or PDW, 2-weapon combos would be either automatic shotgun (with the red sabot rounds for CQC) plus sniper or a carbine/assault rifle (using hollow points against mutants) plus a sniper. Small rifles are bad at sniping, as they don't allow for one hit kills on serious enemies. If economy is still a factor, shotgun shells a way cheaper than hollow-points, plus most factions supplement them naturally from either bandit or loner loot. If carbine/small calibre rifle, 5.45x39 is generally superior (at least in GAMMA). Hollowpoints are rather cheap at Butcher, plus it does a little bit more damage (esp if you get a calibre-converted weapon like the "Dolg"). Weight and damage are better with a small calibre rifle, but endurance is lower (condition loss, plus just ammo consumption, unless your trigger discipline is very good). Attempts to use a one rifle solution using 9x39mm or even 12,7x55(?) should be economically nonviable over the longer term. Mid-game onwards any Sniper should always be (semi-)automatic instead of bolt action, just for volume of fire and being able to exploit chances to hit. I like 7,62x54R, hits usually hard enough while being rather cheap to source.

You can check out Anthology (I made a video about it recently). Still rough around the edges but it has crazy potential if done well. There's a ton of really good story-driven mods too. They are more linear (not really "open world" like Anomaly and its children) but a really nice change of space (I covered Goldsphere, Wind of time and a couple other on the channel, but there's a ton more!)

You know every inch of the map like your back pocket, it would be nice to see you discover new territory, new struggles. I know that you covered some mods, I watch all of your videos. It would be awesome if you would dive deeper in some of them, like a longplay or something. These "let's plays" feel more like routine, the same blocks, the same basement bases... I feel like we need something to spice it up, some variety. I hope you get what I mean xD

there are some but might not have english translation - like AREA that absurdly tedious (your inventory gets irradiated and be worthless to the traders) to play for the new/changed maps. Then there's Dead Air with addons (Redrum, Dragonmir, Survival and other) for quests, but it's based on pre-Anomaly projects like Call of Misery with some tweaks and twists. There's also Road to the North (pre-Anomaly and with TAZ weapon pack, not Tarkov-like but some old and unique stuff) for new storylines. And hideous female NPCs, like newbie 3D artist attempts-nightmare fuel-uncanny valley.

If the stash is empty and you use "move all" button, it will transfer all your inventory in it regardless of the weight.
