These are oddly my favorite games Gray does because they're just so wacky and sometimes bad but Gray (and of course all the funny edits from Zach!) somehow makes anything entertaining and that's a real skill!

8:27 Withdrawal happens with prescription medication too. But differently. Rather than craving it, everything starts going haywire. For me, I take meds for ADHD, anxiety, and depression. If I were to go off them cold Turkey, I may start feeling dizzy, or sick to my stomach. My emotions will also get worse.

My Tourette’s medication does similar. But it does more of after a few days I get very bad Tourette’s and then it takes a few days of doses to get back into the right feeling

Yup. There's a whole phenomenon with Zoloft called "brain zaps". If you don't take Zoloft, it's kinda hard explaining it exactly, but the name on the tin is pretty close. And that can happen from missing a single dose of it. And I mean, when you stop to think prescriptions are meant to treat some underlying issue, removing the treatment would cause the issue to come back. And because most of the mental health treatments are either inhibiting serotonin reuptake, or inhibiting serotonin in general, and serotonin is a hormone, the absence of it is akin to lacking something like insulin, another body hormone. Your body got used to functioning with it present, without it, your brain doesn't know what to do about certain things that previously were no problem for it. And that makes total logical sense when looking at what the medication is and what it is used to do.

@@Checkmate247 no, cold turkey does not only apply to smoking. It's applies to any drug with withdrawal symptoms. And it's when you cease taking said drug all at once, with no weening process. Changed "cigarettes" to "smoking" to reflect what was said rather than interpretation.

I'm super impressed Gray spent 4 years for one 2 hour video for all of us. Glorious. Edit: Big Brain Theory............ Gray is just Mobius but the version living on the sacred timeline.
