I always thought Mario Battle Revolution was such a fun game. So many memories with my brother linking our DS handhelds to the Wii and using our teams.

Man, I laughed so hard at the Sega Superstar Tennis reveal, I feel for ya Matty, and hopefully you get your money back on that one. Hopefully you can keep SST it is legit a great fun game.

FYI; The only games that shipped from a warehouse to you are the N64 games. The rest came from different stores. Employees are generally required to peel the price stickers off of games they’re shipping in case it’s a gift for someone. If the price stickers are still on there, they aren’t doing their job right. Also, the receipt for the first order should be attached to the shipping label on the front of the envelope Unfortunately, because the games get shipped from the stores, there are employees that don’t care about what they’re shipping out and won’t check 100% or even try to make sure that somebody gets a good product, plus shipping stuff out is currently a very big deal and stores get in trouble if they don’t send an order so some staff would rather ship out bad product than get dinged. Probably why Doom and “Halo” showed up like they did. And the “Halo” was probably a trade in that a new employee (or one that didn’t care) just didn’t look out when they took it in, and then it never got moved out of inventory like it should’ve. Doom will most likely work on your Xbox one if you’ve got one, because it only acts as a license and just downloads the game. DS & 3DS games almost never get traded in with the cases, because for some reason, people throw them away. alternatively people keep the cases when they trade in the games and then resell just the cases online. I’ve seen people do that. Because of that, You are almost never going to get an actual case for DS games. I’d say one out of 10 at best. Trust me, I’ve tried. And Just Return Pearl; average for a complete copy on eBay is $60. Get it there. Also, the contacts on the Sonic Rush are corroding. Reorder it. Hunter the Reckoning and Pokémon (Mario lol) battle Revolution are refurbished discs, I would honestly return and re-order at least PBR, Hunter is unlikely to come any other way. The gunk in the middle is the glue separating and the solution they use getting in between the cracks from being overdone on a disk resurfacing machine. The writing on the back was most definitely some kid using that case art for their copy of GTA5. I’ve seen that before too. The big black sticker is covering up a sticker that says defective because the game got sold to them non-functional, and they sent it to get refurbished. And The warehouse doesn’t bother removing stickers, it’s up to the store that receives and ships it to care. Revelations 2 was a former Redbox rental disc. That’s what the sticker in the center is. Those stickers are evil. That’ll Someone rented that, never brought it back to Redbox, and sold it to GameStop. Never had a case. My final note for you is a bit of advice you hopefully may have already taken: Honestly just take every problem game to your local store and if they don’t fix it up for you, go to a further one. Someone will be happy to help and be angry for/alongside you. But I wouldn’t bother calling support yourself.

Love this series, you might want to double check that Pearl cart! I went through two rounds of returns for that game and kept getting repo carts. I ended up just asking for refund and told them please don't put these back into the inventory to sell to the next person, lol.

All of my physical collection ends around 2010 as being a PC gamer, everything moved to the digital at that time. Now looking at the busted discs, boxes, labels, i catch myself thinking that maybe it was for the best

I use to work at game stop (nearly a decade ago) and their "we'll buy anything" approach is what leads to those Halo cases floating out there when they should be replaced.

I was checking out GameStop, GameXchange, Walmart and Target today and all of them are selling games at such high prices. So many games are being sold for their ORIGINAL prices even some a year old! GXC had lots of Zelda Breath of the Wild (no art and really busted cases for $50!) I bought a new copy of Zelda Breath of the Wild for BestBuy for $40 2 months ago.

The writing on the back of the pokemon game made me laugh so hard 😂

As a GameStop employee, it pains me to see the game still in the PO yellow disc folder in the case instead of just putting it in the case like normal, or the lack of a receipt or game case for some of these packages lol As for the Reach case, man idk what people do to their cases at home but shit gets real nasty at times and I either tell them we can't take it or if the game itself is in good condition, I throw away the case. I've seen all kinds of different colored mystery gunk in game cases :( As for any games that come in a case w/o the original cover art, that's bc the person who traded it in didn't bring the og case w them so we have to make those Pre-Owned cover art sheets (I wish they looked better tho) Easiest job I've ever had but man the corporate side of GameStop gets to me sometimes, same goes w the receipts for online orders not having the price like why?? Love your content btw I enjoy watching your channels while I procrastinate on studying :) Side note it's funny you mentioned Diddy Kong Racing for N64 bc in all my time working here that's the only N64 game I've seen in any of my stores and I was the one working when the customer came to sell it

That stuff you see on a lot of the games in the center of the disc where the disc is held in the case is from the fluid/solution used when resurfacing discs.

You got the version of Spyro Reignited that doesn't contain all of the games on the disc. Any new copy would include all of the games, but any game printed 2018-early 2019 will say "Download Required".

A lot of those used games are brand new. The SKU gets converted and they open/sticker the new games as used. I guarantee you that ratchet and clank title was one of those.
