I stayed at a private room which includes a PC and loft bed, in Tokyo, Japan. At CUSTOMA CAFE Yoyogi, the cost of one private room is from 30 mins/204 JPY (1.7 USD) to 24 hours/2934 JPY (25.5 USD). The price is very reasonable, so you may use this as a hotel!

素晴らしい動画感謝です。こういう雰囲気のネカフェを12〜13年ほど前にヘビーユーズしていました。懐かしさと共に少しづつ必要、不要が選択され、進化してきたんだなぁという歴史の洗練のようなものを感じました。快適さを必要最低限まで削ぎ落とした男らしさ（？）がカッコ良すぎます。そして漫画喫茶のレガシーである漫画単行本読み放題を残してくれているのもありがたいです。また機会を作って利用してみようと思いました。

Every time I’ve went to Tokyo, I seemed to end up on the East side of the city (Ueno, Akihabara, Sumida, etc) and I’ve always tried to find an inexpensive, safe, conveniently located option that is suitable for a female solo traveller on the West side. Yoyogi seems perfect, a calmer smaller station in between two of the biggest and right on the Yamanote line. Definitely keeping this on the radar for my next trip to Tokyo!

Thanks for your comment, K M! This kind of private rooms, internetcafe or cybercafe, are here and there in every corner of Tokyo. Internet cafes are way cheaper compared to ordinary hotels, and offer a lot of amusements like watch movies, animes, read comic books and so many more! As you say, Yoyogi is a good station for sightseeing on the west side of Tokyo. You can go to Shinjuku or Shibuya withing a few minutes! I hope you will have wonderful days when you come to Japan😄

Now of all the 'capsule' and 'internet cafe' hotels I've seen on youtube, this has the best room for the cost. If luggage is reasonable safe to be kept in there for when you go out, then I would definitely stay here!

動画に出てくるカスタマカフェ代々木店の入っているビルの地下にあるタイ料理店(アジアンスマイル)にたまにランチでカオマンガイ食べに行きます。一般的なカスタマカフェだと思っていたので、こんなロフトベッドがあるような所だと思ってませんでした。今度利用してみようかな。

Modern life, all you really need is access to internet, a pc and a bed. I love the room, though I am not a fan of the leather pillow, it would make my head sweat.

Looks really comfy and cozy. Looks safe and quiet. You can have the biggest house in America but the environment is just different especially in a big city. Qualilty of life drops significantly.

I find your videos relaxing and comforting. I've noticed that a few places have free curry rice. Is there anything in it? Or just rice and the sauce? (For example, cooking at home using S&B Golden, I put in chunks of beef, potatoes, carrots and onions). Just wondering. It didn't look lumpy, but if I was getting curry for free, even if it was just the sauce to put on the rice, I wouldn't mind.

This is a nice internet cafe. I like that you can lock the door. Everything in Japan looks modern, clean and safe compared to New York.

I actually used this Yoyogi branch. In my honest opinion it is the best choice for a short stay. However, the rooms are dry and not very comfortable, so staying here for a few days will not give you the best performance in terms of sleep and rest. It is no better than staying in a private hotel room.

I would say that you can bring certain things if you mean dry air. Like a small humidifier. Also, this would be great just to use as a place to sleep and then go exploring a city.

@@JustaMomnFamily You are right about the measures to prevent the room from drying out. I would add that the noise of people walking down the hallway and people vocalizing somewhere disturb my sleep. This is another reason I would recommend a hotel!

Thank you for that. I'd definitely have issues with a dry room, and an uncomfortable sleep if the bed is not good, or people talking. But I guess, if I needed a last minute place to stay, this would be an okay option.

かれこれ16～7年前にも鹿児島にあったのよカレーと鶏飯（茹でた鶏肉をご飯に乗せてだし汁をかけて食べる料理）食べ放題のネット喫茶３０分３００円だったけどお財布が厳しい時に安くで腹一杯食べられるからよく利用してた１０年近く前に行ったらもう別のネット喫茶になってたけど

This video is very interesting! Is there any online reservation for this mangacafe? Will they accept foreign tourists? The 12/24 hours option is very interesting. And the place look chill and comfy. And near train station too (i assume). Please keep making video like this. Oh and i like raw eggs in japan. Its like creamy sauce to me. I can eat rice with 2 raw eggs and furikake alone. Hahaha. Though additional misoshiru will make it even better. Subscribed!

Whether you can reserve a room online depends on each branch of this mangacafe. This yoyogi branch does not take online reservation, so you have to ask for a room when checking in. Yes, they accept foreign tourists! Having rice with raw egg and misoshiru feels very Japanese! I really like it too❤️ Thanks for watching man.

places like these are where you would like to stay and live there. At least that's what I think since they are well equipped for what you need, I even see it as attractive as long as it is cybercafés of this type and not the usual conventional ones.

People who live here for a long time are called "Internet cafe refugees" in Japan. So, there really is people who use these places like their home. Cybercafes or internet cafes in Japan offer what you need for a very basic living, in addition to some amusements, which is amazing! Thanks for your comment❤️

I think that if you were to travel to Japan and needed just a place to stay for a few weeks that's cheap, these would be the way to go. $14 × 14 = $196 before tax! That seems way better!

@linadawn7542 people like you just don’t understand. The point of this is cheap and allows flexible stay, suitable for people on a budget. If you think you need a private toilet or whatever, then you’re free to choose them, at a much higher cost. The good thing here is you can choose the number of hours you want to stay and pay for whatever you need, hotels would just charge you for the entire day. It’s easier to plan if you’re doing day trips

The cheapest price for net room with key seems to be from Manboo, 13,600 a week with no pc. I don't think i'll be able to find cheaper than that in Tokyo.

Very nice video! One thing you did not show us - the restroom and showers. Do they offer a shower? If so, the price is really good. You could live there for $750 USD per month. Much cheaper than getting an apartment.

このぐらいの広さがあれば良いな東横インとかＡＰＡホテル等で、安めのホテルとして、こういう感じのを作ってくれないかなと思ったけどユニットバスや寝具がないから宿泊としては微妙化も・・・それらを付けたら普通のビジネスホテルと変わらなくなるし宿泊施設になるから、金額も変わんなくなる気がする。

The meal (curry and rice) is free for guests. There is no difference of price between male and female. You can get many discounts when, for example, you come here for the first time, or register for membership. (The discount coupon I got is from first-time use.) ❤️

Can I use a that kind of cafe without Telephone Number of Japan? I know that they require a telephone Number of Japan for a security, so short stay foreigner like me can't use it.
