Same with me. I remember Tobuscus being the first creator I watched on KZfaq consistently, when I first found KZfaq around 2010-2011. Then came Smosh, then PewDiePie, CaptainSparklez, etc.

as a native spanish speaker I was highly surprised to see German Garmendia appear on this video, I grew up with his videos and his dumb jokes had such a big impact on me, I'm actually writing this a day after the Esland awards and seeing German be granted the award for best trajectory, remember everything he had done even if to some it doesn't look like much, it's just amazing and very heart warming

I never appreciated how influential German was. With KZfaq being primarily dominated by English-speaking channels at the time, he really helped non-English speaking creators find their footing.

The English community probably doesn't know German, but he was huge in Latinoamérica, a legend. On his old chanel, everytime he uploaded a new video everyone would be talking about it, and on his new chanel he's doing pretty well as well

Re-watching this, I hope one day with get a full on I spent a day with PewDiePie type of interview.
