I know in Great War Redux you used to be able to play as Teddy Roosevelt and Manifest Destiny your way to world domination. Not sure if it’s still there but if so I’d love to see it!

i recommend playing the ottoman empire in the great war redux, can be quite challenging and fun and can be very powerful

The ottoman empire is one of the more interesting nation to play as you have something like 2 civilian factories (because of the debt repayment), a cool system with the minorities + rebellions and various wars on the horizon (italo-turkish war, balkan war(s), great war).

@@YeamaP they changed it, you have 1 civ now as you get 64% civ goods from the debt. make sure to get down the economy tree, as you can give oil rights to britain. they are 4 of these decisions, each take away 15% civ goods, and usually left with 10% left

For the Great War Redux, I recommend: "*Reworked Qing (Great War Redux Submod) v2.0" and then maybe Yuan Shikai could be interesting.

There is a Proto-Fascist Greek and a Monarchist Bulgarian route in Great War Redux which both allow you to restore Byzantium (I know you already did that before)

some of the focus trees in TNO end so early, played as new britain, couldnt even do the independence Hmmlr route so i had to go collaborator and it ended like a few focuses after the civil war so now im just gonna turn on the old uk in Tno

If you're looking for a fun nation with a focus tree, I recommend you play Russia Historicay, I had alot of fun playing as them and was able to push them to the Oder by 1916 and force the armistice of compiegne with only 10 days before Nikolai II abdicated. ON THE OTHER HAND, if you're looking for a challenge, and I mean something that will have you banging your head against the wall for HOURS upon HOURS, I present to you, Mexico. You have 200 days in the beginning to get 50% stability from 18% or else you suffer the Mexican revolution which destroys your economy and you go down the historical chain of events of civil war and etc. I've never been able to beat the Mexican revolution but you might be able to. Anyhow by buying German artillery and infantry equipment, I was able to form a pretty good army and joined the Central power's and invade a little bit into texas but got stuck there. If you can reclaim Imperial Mexican territories, you'll be the GOAT.

Just for people to know, UPA was historicly terrorist group wich fought communist on east (and slava them for that) but also murdered and purged many polish civilians on west (read about Volhynian-Galician slaughter). Ukrainians have many national heroes and brave man and woman, but UPA and Bandera are not best example

About these far right ideologies, national socialism (when we talk about Germany) is a divergent kind of fascism with all the racial theories that the Third Reich had . Ultra-nationalism is a much more moderate far-right policy about the supremacy of one specific people in their own state (for example Russians for their IRL political party and Ukrainians in your gameplay) but their xenophobia is less extreme . I don't know why I explain that, just to say that traditional fascist regimes like in Italy or Spain were focusing on a strong autocratic government, so its normal to find them in a scenario where Germany won WW2 and in a game literally known as "The New Order" because they LOVE Order 😅

Hey Colonel Cam, I would like to request a video idea that you check out the mod 'Rise of Belarusian Sun.' It is a super good mod telling the story of how belarus gained independence during the russian civil war but it also has loads of paths you can take (fascist, democratic, communist) and overall just really fun to play. Additionally, it also has 2 secret paths but I won't tell you incase you play the mod but during the 1936 elections make sure to press the decisions that say 'this will launch a coup' if u want them extra paths which in my opinion both seem much better than the other paths. I hope you see this as I think you will love it. Please like so he will see this.
