Bootlegs are just 3rd party sets, they can be varied quality but I am glad they exist to keep CCBS alive when Lego stopped caring.

Found some fake hero factory sets when i went to the coast at my nans mobile home. They have 6 of them, they have stomer, ferno, breeze, surge, bulk and one im not sure the name of. I decided to get 3, thinking its something to screw around with and a bit of my childhood. Oh boy, i was impressed with them, the bones hold posses, armour stays together and works with offical pieces too. Plus did a good job at actually replicating the pieces from the offical sets. Only problem is that the weapons dont quite fit too well in each fist, though ironically enough they work with the offical fists perfectly. Youll further notice that the chest bone, the centre hole has a + and not a ○ like the offical. Which imo make customising much better. I honestly wouldnt mind seeing more from bj toys with this cause theyre pretty solid.

He onluy reason I'd get that Humungosaur figure is for the neck piece. If you flip the shoulders inside out, it makes a 10 gallon cowboy hat.

I'm wondering if most of the color choices had to do with price /availability of certain colors when they were in production. Also, do you think these are primarily made for children in countries, like Ecuador, where the original brands either aren't available or are prohibitively costly, or created for people like you who collect and appreciate all of the offshoots and variations on the originals?

Good video, I was surprised by the figure of ekimu 2016, very funny but that head is suitable for mocs. The lava beast you bought came out slightly better than mine, that it did come with all the pieces but some were faulty. Also about the last figure, I have 3 similar ones that are from furno, surge and nex in 2.0 form (also a Stringer breakout) and it seems very common in these bootlegs, in the savage planet sets I saw that the helmets do not fit well Of course, I suppose that for the breakout sets there should be no problem because the helmets were designed for glatorian heads. And the batches of spare parts, I thought it was a bad joke because so much price for an Evo helmet in gun metal gray, and in the end it turns out that they are given in batches, and some pieces catch my attention but it would not be enough for me so much. But hey, I still think that the ccbs bootlegs are quite curious to analyze.

Just curious if the Mini Gali's mask is painted? I have a Pohatu from this bootleg series and it's mask is painted, but the Lewa mask from the series isn't. The paint job on mine was really clean but a little rubbing alcohol/isopropyl on a cotton swab did the trick
