He's honestly not as expensive as he's made out to be. This card isn't meant to be someone you get on the first day, but he's supposed to be attainable over time. If he was too easy to get then you'd see him in every other team you face and which would make using him feel less special. Getting him is a reward for the work you put in and most players who play a few times a week should have him by the end of the month if they've been smart with their stubs. In terms of the card itself, he's a 5-Tool player that we all begged for last year. Outfield and second base are the two thinnest positions IMO and he can play both with diamond defending, not to mention his insanely big PCI and Pop. The card is definitely not what I was expecting, but after some reflection I definitely think this entire collection and reward is a major W.

I’m an offline grinder and I work so this “feels” impossible. I know it’s not and it will just take time. I was disappointed and felt like there should have been rewards at certain tiers but idk. I was bummed out thought I did good preparing, no idea how I’m going to get enough milestones at all. I’ll work at it. Love your content! All the best.

With Mookie… it seems like a lot right now, but SDS will release more cards to make it cheaper and easier. A card like this shouldn’t be easy to acquire, the grind is part of the fun.

The price is too much, last year trout was released a month earlier in the game cycle and it was way less to get him, with more cards available. Way too overpriced, even though the card is absolutely incredible

25 award cards is very OD and the prime is ridiculous too. Now all the cards are soooo jacked up. Like you said I thought I would be able to get him pretty easy on release with how many cards I had and bought prior and not even close.

Challenge here koogs, put mookie at catcher for a game and walk the first batter of every inning that way there’s more opportunities for your opponent to steal and see if the arm transitions to catcher

I’m 4 short of Millie. And I spent hundreds of thousands of stubs on cards, and it still wasn’t enough. Signature, prime, milestones, and future stars are my kryptonite here. They definitely made this way harder than necessary. Like with milestones, I got all the ones I could without World Series or 12-0 in BR, and that will never happen for me as I’m new. Feels like this one is pandering to the people who’ve been in this for years. Less accessible for new players, which doesn’t bring in or keep new players around.

This collection was way easier than Honus. Mostly because we knew it was coming. Honus came out of nowhere and nobody was prepared.

They need to give more card rewards along the way for these collections like at 5 and 10 vouchers. This card is debatably not even end game and for sure isnt in the outfield with the likes of Trout, Mantle, Griffey, Aaron, and Mays still to come.

A second basemen on the AAA Cardinals is named Erving LOPEZ and he stayed with one of my friends families in single A ball. His girlfriends name is Nicky so Nicky Lopez is really ironic to me because of that. 😂

I do think that the card is probably the best right fielder on paper, but im not looking forward to having to spend like 1.6 million stubs. I also don't spend a lot of time on the game which makes it a little harder to grab mookie on my end.

I feel like cost isn't the point. It's something for people to chase if they choose to. He doesn't make it to where you have to have him to be competitive and there are comparable cards that are available now and coming later. It's just more great content, which is great.

It depends on how you play the game. I’m no money spent and I collect every card in the game. I had more than enough cards in every category and I don’t see it as a cost because I was never going to sell any of those cards anyway. For someone that is casual and just buys the cards that are going to make their lineup, this collection is rough for now. It will become cheap as the year goes on, but by then you might not care about Mookie as he will be surpassed by newer cards.
