Far in the future, Zedaph attempts to spy on the fourth season TCG final, looking for the still elusive perfect picture of Etho, three times TCG champion, undisputed ruler of all Hermitcraft. Breaking into the arena, he finds a warren of tunnel which lead him to a room deep underground filled only with pictures... of himself.

You should get a Zedvancement just for that aerial goat delivery! That was very impressive.

If you can manage to spy on Mumbo you can run away, come back, and ask him if he can help with your diamond beacon.

Haven’t finished but at 12:01 watching Zed look for spy holes knowing Cub has two rooms and a water secret entrance that are excellent spy spots is painful… especially when he walked past the ladder for the Pharaoh Entrance and said “no entry into the main arena” 😂 love you Zed, wonderful ep as always!

Would you be able to spy on a round of Total Chaos if you hide up in the roof with a potion of fire resistance? Seems like a good way to spy multiple hermits at once while they'll be completely distracted.

This was a very enjoyable anxiety inducing episode! In the arena I noticed some paintings, maybe the paintings over signs trick could be used for some sneaky spy escapes!?

Why watch the TCG final through the perspective of a finalist when you can watch it via a spying Zedaph?

I always forget that Minecraft has polar bears and panda bears but not regular brown/grizzly/whichever bears, which are a lot more common than the others irl

As a photography student I would say the second picture of etho deserves a better rating. Sure, you can't totally see his face but artistically it's very interesting. There's some good framing going on and that the glass perfectly draws to eye to etho and simultaneously obscures him from vision creates an interesting juxtaposition. You could give it a fancy title and stick it in an art gallery and a whole bunch of critics would be falling over themselves at the symbolism and hidden meaning and cleverly subverted expectations

I'll never get over how amazing Zedaph makes the game just by playing differently.

Have you 'upsidedowned' any mobs by naming them Grumm yet? If not, you should while you others left to hang up.. just to make sure you cover both. Because you have a bed below all the hanging mobs, it's almost like a crib and mobile

Awesome Episode! GG on two solid shots of Etho! For spying on more people, maybe you can hide behind a painting, and only have your spyglass look out, you'd have to also find the right type of painting where it might fit in :)

Just make sure to put something above the strider so that it doesn't take damage from the rain... Also, when Tango opens Decked Out, see if you can work with him for a route in and out that will let you spy on hermits in game without any interference with the game

Those spy skills are definitely getting better.

The TCG final was such a brilliant opportunity for spying. Lots of Hermits making noise, and providing lots of name tags, so any noise you make or flash of your name tag doesn’t stand out, but also all of those Hermits being focused on single point and not looking all around, so they are less likely to see you - absolutely prime spying.

That was the most MLG goat-hanging I've ever seen. To be fair, I have never seen another goat-hanging, but I imagine you'd perform pretty well in a goat-hanging competition!

I was kind of expecting you to put on an all black ninja outfit and either be up on the ceiling or where the TCG portal ladder leads right on top of the playing field. You could have gotten some great pix of the crowd from there.

You should have a challenge called “three steps toward, one step back” where you have to kill the ender dragon, but every time to step 3 blocks, you go back 1. I got this from the alay incident. Great video as always Zed, keep up the good work. :)

You should have a spying spot within decked out when that gets finished, can get lots of bonus points if you can snap action shots of people being chased by wardens, vexes, etc

Getting a picture of mumbo from within his vault would be Perfect, especially if mumbo is on the outside and you're hiding on the inside

Great video. 😊 I think you should make some hide holes made of banners and paintings. Make them look like you are putting up billboards. I would also try putting lots of very bushy “gardens”. Another idea would be to utilize blocks that are not full blocks and have that one pixel wide gap.

Just was saying that Cub found your hidey-hole on his stream yesterday; it's in the last 10 minutes of it if you wanted to watch it. He was shocked and amused at the whole thing. He had no idea you were there! Also, on Tango Tek2's last video with the Beacons title, Tango bets a song and dance that you'll never complete the Mineral Beacons Zedvancement. While I'm inclined to agree with him... I also would love for you to make him do that song and dance lol It's at 2:17:16. This was a really well edited episode with excellent pacing. I felt the anticipation and your nerves all the way up to and including the moment of spying. It's so funny you couldn't get pictures of other hermits because they were wearing Etho and xB heads hahaha such bad luck! Looking forward to more Zedvancements; your season 9 has been altogether excellent and you should be very proud of all of it.

In Mumbo's Hermitcraft S9E14 he runs into an allay trying to find slime, at about three and a half minutes in.

I just thought of an interesting idea, you should make a shop that helps you spy on hermits. Something where they really have to interact with the shop so they're preoccupied, and maybe it has lots of windows or secret rooms for you to spy in. XD You should build it when no one else is on, so no one knows its yours. :P

Z2 spy plane, take a picture of a hermit flying far above them either moving with an elytra or by building a plane at build hight, taking the picture and taking the build down again before they notice.

Zed, if allays are anything like bees they can sometimes bug out and fly up forever, in which case it's long gone :/ edit: learned this the hard way myself trying to make an open-air bee farm
