It didn't start out that way. It started with Puff and Suge over Puff's body guard shooting/killing Suge's body guard. Then, the Quad Studio incident which, involved a host of NY, street dudes and Pac thought Big/Puff set him up. Pac goes to prison because of Jimmy Henchman set him up with the girl who said Pac raped her. Pac gets out of Prison because of Suge. Suge wanted revenge on Puff, Pac wanted revenge on Big. Pac forms the Outlawz. They start kicking up dust. Then, a bunch of other people from both sides got involved. It wasn't East vs West until, the Source Magazine called it that. A lot of Jersey dudes was riding with Pac because some of his fam is from Jersey and he had friends from there. It was more like holding Pac down. Jersey wasn't against NY. Some just had drama with whoever, had drama with Pac. Redman for example, is from Jersey and Method Man is from NY. Both were able to be cool with both Big and Pac because they didn't get involved.

I remember hearing that rumor back in the day when shyne first came out Big Tigger asked him about it on rap City the basement but the rumor was the other way around they said shyne spit on the outlawz but he didn't answer the question ❓😮
