You are completely wrong, audi tts stock 272 is not factory tweaked at all,quite the opposite.'Tweaked' with just bolt ons and still stock turbo its good for 370-380 bhp

I fitted a racechip to my Audi TT mark 2 2.0 8j a few weeks ago and its great. No engine light and loads more power. Did you follow the fitting instructions to the latter?

if frame is touched/bent , take the money and shop for a new car. it will never be the same even after repairs, its only good for track cars if the frame has been affected and repaired.

Manufacturers build their vehicles to be supplied all over the world. And because of the different situations the vehicle could be permanently operating in, they have to tune the engine to cope with the worst of them, to minimise the chance of any problems and warranty claims.. So the engine management is de-tuned from its designed capabilities to cope with the worst scenarios of fuel quality, altitude, temperature, humidity, servicing standards, etc, etc. As we know the operating conditions are excellent for an engine in the UK, we can remove this de-tuning during our remapping process

There all under powered for emissions. A map just freese it all up

I do have an app I downloaded for 0-60 im not sure how accurate it is though. Maybe something I can test out soon

Yes no problem at all, we can set your car up at the Mallory HQ and supply you with different tunes for different purposes (fuel ron - switchable - pops n bangs - deletes etc) the selftune portal will be online shortly where you will also be able to request add ons!

@@andezdoes Hi Andrew, nope we dont need it to be here on the dyno, we can tune the car and adjust with you (benefits of being able to flash the car yourself) or you can pop into one of our dealers who will be more local to you. The ethos behind the lead is to enable the customer to have a tuner with them at all times.. allowing you to have adjustments made without needing to come in.

It’s just an Audi TT mk2 (mark two)

Nothing special I have a new Audi TTRS fully straight piped with a stage 2 remap and headers for a more beefy sound through the exhaust system

Not 100% sure but I think its about £60 each map

Had a 2006 A3 quattro with that same engine as the TT put a new clutch then mapped it stage 1, 5 years later sold to my mate he took it to Rtec and got it to stage 2+ running 288bhp this the 8th year now on the same clutch drove it the other day and its still totally fine

highly unlikely, you should write to them. I've asked and got a quick reply saying they do my engine, even though it's not listed. It's all in the ECU, actually. If you have a common ECU, regardless of the car's brand, almost everyone can tune it, not just these guys.

I think the whole custom tune rolling is just generic, pretend to add abit extra fuel in there. Like there custom tuning to your car. They fully well know they need not do anything past an generic to start with just blow your car up. Basically I think it’s bollox they would need your car on and off the rolling road 20/30 times. I bet the average is 3 times… before and after.. 3 time ohh let’s add another milligram of Fuel so think your getting a custom tune and off you go. That the basis for these custom tunes these days
