You don't have to maintain a friendship with her just because she's friends with your daughter(which is a bit odd). Do you think she'll respect you as a friend if she didn't respect you as her boyfriend? Furthermore, do you believe she's a positive influence on your daughter? If you hope to have a relationship with any self-respecting woman, this situation will likely cause drama and it can be a deal-breaker(warning from experience).
