I live on the UES and pay $230 a month for my equinox gym membership. All my friends think I’m crazy, but for only $130 more than your average NYC gym membership I get unlimited classes, a beautiful gym, steam room, etc. I think it’s totally worth the price!! One day I’ll spoil myself with a night at the equinox hotel. I’ve been meaning to try it out, thanks for the video!❤️

Upper west side here and we were paying around the same, about $500 for my wife and I though a corporate discount. No access to the sports club or print house at that rate. I hated seeing that charge every month but the gym is fantastic. Always a free bench press, even at rush, clean facilities, competent staff, and the people were (mostly) normal. Protip: the equinox in Soho is full of models at all hours, if you want extra motivation. It's actually cheaper than the boutique gyms in the area 😅

I can't believe you went to my gym, which by the way, is really amazing, I love that location. I wish I had seen you there! No. Not Really. The only place you might find a room that is similiar in quality(beds, fabrics, fixtures, woodwork, fittings, and electronics) for $350 is in Las Vegas becuase gambling subsidizes and keeps the hotel costs 40%-50% lower then the national average. This is the same with every gym. They actually make the bulk of their money (but not a lot, gyms have pretty low profits) from the personal training they sell, not memberships.

You covered everything I had heard except that particular Equinox gym when it opened was the most exclusive in the franchise. Memberships that allowed roving to all Equinox gyms did not include Hudson Yards because of the "Billionaire's Row" clients.
