Tonight I stayed in a £16 Blackpool B&B
Blackpool is a once Thriving Seaside town in England that is in visible decline
It’s issues with Addiction has brought a lot of Crime and related issues to the place that was once loved for its English Vacations…
I stay in The Merlin Hotel and despite starting positive and optimistic - excusing the poor room as being justified for £16.
All changed when I found ……. In the Bed

I lived in Blackpool between 2007 and 2013. That is good for the price !! The hotel trade is not really highly paid and considering the hoteliers have to pay out first and then make a profit. That is hard work. Some rooms are hard to clean after check out. That water mark looks suspect but you don't know what they have been doing there. I have been going to Blackpool recently and pay that bit more for accommodation. If the hotel/B&B are privately owned then they are more concerned with the reputation and I've found them a real pleasure to stay. There are some nice apartments (holiday apartments) on Vincent Road. It cost us around £230 for 4 nights and 2 people and they was really nice, but it was down to wear and tear not the standard of hygiene. It's an example to pricing or budgeting. In Blackpool can go dirt cheap. I wouldn't touch the burger stalls (was ill last time). Be careful where to eat on the take away. There was a lot of police presence on my last visit in June. Its fair to say that in Blackpool it may not be due to the residence because its a made for attraction. I actually like Liverpool for the genuine people, especially around the Albert Dock (Arena, bars and restaurants). Thanks for making the video, enjoyed loads 👍

Fucking hell that's dire...but £16 for a roof over your head for a night is cheap one way or the other...if your going to stay in a place like that bring a sleeping bag at least!

Its not bad for £16 really. I wouldnt want to stay there even if it was much cheaper than my first option of a room in blackpool.

Actually ill take it back i didnt expect 2 see blue liquid in the bed. I would of left too its not worth staying there.

Watching this from a Travelodge near the football stadium in Blackpool and wasn’t very impressed with this but that’s a whole new level of gross 🤮 I think Boulevard is a posh one for you next time
