Finally a big KZfaqr makes an honest video about these overpriced hotels. I have sneaked into many posh hotels in London, with the most expensive being 45 park lane, costing £1,200 per night. I didn't have long to look around these hotels before being kicked out, but I still got a good feel for what they are like. They are worse than regular hotels as you are always being monitored by the staff. Imagine paying their extortionate prices to stay somewhere where you can't relax as you are always being checked up on. And they are not even that posh a lot of the time. So in other words there is nothing to be gained by paying to stay in one. If you are rich a £200 per night Novatel or Hilton with a swimming pool is the best you can get. If you pay any more for a more expensive place the level of service actually goes down, not up. As far as I can tell the only reason to pay for a overpriced hotel is just for the status of showing off that you are rich enough to afford it.

I've stayed in the four seasons for free on a work trip, it was 10x better then this and half the price. Breakfast (i didnt pay it) was £30 but was amazing to be fair
