Welcome to Oman! What an incredible country and destination in the Middle East. In my first video in the Oman series, I show you what it's like to live with a bedouin family in the desert.
At the beginning of my Oman trip, I stayed with a real bedouin family, in their desert compound in the Wahiba Sands. I followed them around as they went about their day, tried to help out and filmed bits of their lives to show you just how difficult they have it - and how they manage their day-to-day in one of the harshest environments on the planet.
*The adults' names have been changed to ensure their privacy.

Thank you for all your wonderful feedback ❤️ I'm so honoured to have been able to stay with this beautiful family, and even more honoured still that they trusted me to film their life and make a video for you all about it. If you enjoyed this vlog, make sure you watch the next one from my Oman series, which is all about how I camped alone in the mountains around Jebel Shams 🙂 See you there 😘

Yes... and yet, a resounding no.!! One must always speak the truth, even when inconvenient or uncomfortable, though especially when the basic human rights of others are being trampled on, denied or denounced... always.!! Not all cultures were created equal, with many permitting and committing human rights violations to one or more subsets of it's own. So, while the op may have a beautiful view, albeit entirely naively so, on humanity and the acceptance of all the cultures therein, it simply is not so... nor ought it be. I rather to agree with the creator of this video. There can be, and are, beautiful things to be found in this realm, often in other peoples and their cultures, but one must not be so ignorant or naive as to believe that one must accept ALL aspects of other cultures. That simply will not wash.

I really brought a smile to my face the whole way through seeing how much you genuinely appreciate everything the family themselves has to appreciate and watching you immerse yourself in this way huge, I wish more people had the chance to do the same. I sponsor 5 children living in the refugee camps in Amman, Jordan and to be surrounded by people who have (in a Western mindset) nothing, are the people who are the happiest because in all actuality, they have everything and it's so refreshing. I once lived in Jordan, the people in the city are indistinguishable from average people in any other country, most just going around doing their jobs and coming home, yknow, normal stuff, but the people in the countryside are so much more cheery! They're always so happy, energetic and they have such an amazing sense of community! It's fascinating, there's not even a second with them without at least one person smiling.

Eva I enjoyed this so much, I currently live in New York and I am now a mother of 5 children ages 10-22 but at one time I was a little dessert nomad child. I used to caravan with my Great Aunt Marrila, and my Great Uncle Warren and my Great Grandmother. It was the best years of my young life. Eventually they got too old and passed away, luckily I was pretty old then around 12-12 so I was able to fend for myself, but my heart yearns for this life again. It is something that I can not even properly describe for my children my past nomadic life , they have only known the comforts and buzz of America and NYC at that. I thank you truly for this gift of memories.

@@santhoshmathew5908 ****** PROPHET MOHAMED IN THE BIBLE ****** YOU must accept islam now becoz Jesus himself has prophesied PROPHET MOHAMED in bible 3000 years ago by title of ANOTHER COMFORTER and PRINCE OF THIS WORLD in verses below taken from bible. Hence all of you accept ISLAM now !!!! All those prophecies are mentioned here below !!! *** Revelation 22:7 *** Blessed are those who obey the words of prophecy written in this book *** ****** PROPHET MOHAMED IN THE BIBLE ****** John chapter 14 verse 16: "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you ANOTHER COMFORTER, that he may abide with you forever." John chapter 14 verse 25: These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you John chapter 14 verse 26: But the COMFORTER which is the Holy Ghost whom the father will send in my name he shall teach you all the things and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I have said unto you John chapter 14 verse 30: Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the PRINCE OF THIS WORLD cometh, and hath nothing in me. John chapter 15 verse 26: "But when the COMFORTER is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me." John chapter 15 verse 27: and ye also shall bear witness because ye have been with me from the beginning John chapter 16 verse 7: "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the COMFORTER will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you". John chapter 16 verse 8: and when he is come he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. John chapter 16 verse 12: I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now John chapter 16 verse 13: Howbeit when he, the spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me. Some Christians say that the Comforter mentioned in these prophecies refers to the Holy Spirit. They fail to realize that the prophecy clearly says that only if Jesus (p.b.u.h) departs then the Comforter will come. The Bible states that the Holy Spirit was already present on earth before and during the time of Jesus (p.b.u.h), in the womb of Elizabeth, and again when Jesus (p.b.u.h) was being baptized, etc. Hence this prophecy refers to none other than Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h).The Spirit of Truth, spoken about in this prophecy also refers to none other than Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) Note : All the above references are taken from King James Version ! Note : Ask me any question ! Hence its compulsory for you to ACCEPT ISLAM NOW !!! NOTE : the word jesus christ and word christianity all are man made words not divine real name of jesus christ IS "ESOU" according to original mansuscript of bible which is in hebrew or aramic "Esou" aka jesus who was a jew prophet came only for jews & he never claimed any religion by the name of christianity "MATTHEW 15 : 24 i am not being sent but only unto the lost sheeps of the house of israel" "Esou" aka jesus came to complete the law of the jews which moses brought MATTHEW 5:17 New Living Translation "Don't misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the LAW OF MOSES or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose Hence proved that "Esou" aka jesus was a jew prophet who came for jews only and thats why he has prophesied PROPHET MOHAMED by title of upcoming "ANOTHER COMFORTER" and "PRINCE OF THIS WORLD" for all nations of this world . HENCE !!! EMBRACE ISLAM NOW !!! Ask me any question any time !!!
