Some have commented about it already but it’s actually extremely impressive you can commentate during a real race similar to how you would on the sim. There’s no reason you should have to say anything while you focus on the race but I’m sure mentally commentating out loud brings you back to a comfort zone. Well done to you and the team!

I loved this channel from the moment I found it. the frank and open way Jimmy has shared his life and emotions and failures as well as his joys and triumphs! to watch him go from the shed to success inspires me. To watch him go from sim to race driver, and champion and now a win on the Nordschleife!!!!!! what a journey... and throughout it all he maintains his playfulness and humility and joy. And he still shares every moment of his career with us and never forgets where he came from....it's incredible... This is becoming more compelling to me than F1... Bravo Jimmy!

The funny thing is I can totally believe this is happening. You and Steve to come from sim to IRL and basically apply what you’ve learned onto the track is nothing short of greatness. The four of you were unstoppable that race and it’s gotta sting the other drivers knowing that they’ve all made it their life’s work to race IRL, and a couple of sim guys smoke them out of the water… Gotta sting just a bit. 😂 But you guys really look no different from sim to IRL and that’s the best thing about it. Enjoy the win. First of many I’m sure of it. Bilstein should be proud of the gamble they took on you guys cuz it’s paying off and then some already. Cheers boys. 💯💯💯☝🏻

See, this is what gives me hope for the future of racing. As sim racing gets more and more democratic, even though a professional level sim rig can get into tens of thousands of dollars, it's still cheaper for many people to get into than a real race car or even go-kart. As the years go on, I fully believe that more and more accurate simulators will become a true source of driving talent. There are still things that can ONLY be felt in the physical world, but there is a large untapped potential group right now: those with the talent and drive to translate those simulator skills into real-world driving. It's slowly getting there. It started with Nissan Academy, then social media and KZfaq and iRacing and eSports and on and on and on. The playing field is getting flatter once again.

Not just the racing, but looking at the whole package. We all see how big the smile is when you look and Annie, hug the dogs, joke with friends. Congratulations to the whole team, but this being Jimmy's channel, it's the stuff dreams are made of. This guy started sim racing in a blumming shed!! He's entertained nearly one million subscribers now, and in just 3 or 4 years, we have seen him sim race against F1 drivers and with motorsport legends. Win races and a championship with Praga Racing, and now driving a GT4 car at the world famous Nürburgring Nordschleife, has a class win in endurance racing. I read Roy of the Rovers as a kid, dreaming of being a footballer. This man took his dreams and made them real. There's no way he's done climbing that podium yet, either. To compete is one thing. To win takes being in the right place, at the right time, and having the right attitude. We are also there too, and get a front row seat, every time. GO ON JIMMER!!!
