It’s sooo intimidating for sure 😮‍💨 glad we were able to use a projector for this one because the doodle method would have been so time consuming - we still had to go back in and level out all the straight lines and I used stencils for the trees too because a projector isn’t always the most accurate so you have to adjust and fix as you go

Ok I got you! So when I wanted to start getting into murals here are a few things I did: 1. Started working on painting/drawing/creating in larger scale - it’s totally different and takes practice 2. Followed a lot of muralists and watched all their content and took all the notes. What transfer methods do they use aka how do they get their designs on walls? Do they use lifts, what certifications do they need, what brushes do they mention in their captions, what brand and type of paint do they use, etc! Even what outfits they wear haha - lots of them have lists on Amazon of things they recommend or free supply lists you can get by signing up for their email newsletter 3. Did aaallll the research by just googling everything I could think of about murals and reading articles, watching videos, scrolling blogs, etc. every single job is different and definitely a learning experience but a lot of times I’ve been able to problem solve on the fly because I remembered reading some thing that helped me in a tight situation. 4. Start mocking up your work on big walls and sharing it / posting it on social media, just put your dreams out there! I got my first mural through doing that that and had to learn some on the fly but already had a lot of the head knowledge for what I needed to do because of research! 🫶🏻 and once you start posting about murals typically you’ll start to get hired more for that, so make sure to document each project process and result for your social media or portfolio:) I hope this helps! 💙
