This could only happen to Tom! Thanks for the magazines though. I've had a wonderful time flipping through them and reading them. My dad who's 74, 75 -- though he's not slow he's rather spry for his age -- he liked them too! I live with him just in case anything does happen to him. He was a mechanic back in the 70s and helped his brother with his car such as timing, fuel systems, and whatnot. No computers back then!

Alternate ending #2- Tom sees high speed chase in progress, climbs out of the passenger side window onto the roof of the toter. Makes his way to the rear. Drops the tailgate and climbs into Sick Seconds. Fires her up, rolls down the ramp and joins the chase. He overtakes the Charger pursuit vehicles one after another and pits the Durango a mere 5.991 seconds later. The fleeing felon is wanted in six states, but the cops decide to charge Tom with felony speeding 150 mph over the speed limit. Sick Seconds is impounded and Cletus picks it up at the next Kentucky police auction.

Glad overall everyone was safe and especially 2.0... I'm sure the boys in blue appreciated your accidental contact that stopped the crazy pursuit!!

I drive truck, and years ago I was a few miles south of the Palm Coast scale on 95N. I’m putting along at my governed 63mph in the right lane where I’m supposed to be, and grandma was inching up on my trailer in the middle lane for miles. Then I see an impatient Trail Blazer get pissed, whip it over behind me, and then tried to squeeze in between grandma and my trailer. He made it, but in the process, lost control. It’s like it was happening in slow motion. Saw him counter steer and then go into the left lane, then counter steer the other way and ended up doing a nose dive into my driver side fuel tank. Then, like you said, headlights, taillights, headlights, etc, all the way down the side of my trailer. I remember grabbing the shoulder so he didn’t nose underneath my trailer and me drag or run over them. It happened so fast, yet slow enough to remember all of the little details.

If you're ever worried about breaking the leafs again, you can run transport chain on the top of the ubolts to the frame rails. Will hold the axles centered enough to limp off the road. Seen it in offraod trailers.
