Fun fact: Vikings named Greenland Greenland instead of Iceland is to confuse incoming enemies to try to find the Vikings in the cold area

Actually it was named Greenland because a group of vikings found it and wanted their village to move but all they found was a cold and ice coverd island so they called it Greenland to lure then into moving there
