For when you sank into the snow, powdered snow is a new feature from 1.17. It looks _slightly_ different than regular snow blocks.

To answer your question about the shape of the caves, it's a mix. Terralith _enhances_ the original 1.18 caves.

people don’t understand how powerful and amazing minecraft is, it can take a group of random people who don’t know each other, and they can start whole worlds, empires, governments, alliances, amazing builds, anything they want, they can do anything if they set their mind to it, minecraft involves teamwork and communication, and building skills, minecraft made my childhood. i love minecraft.

yea I just noticed that if you leave the seed blank, you always get the same seed, it's not random, I was playing the same world

@@ErrikosAlexiou i also tried entering a different sees- still, same world. i googled and it said it’s a minecraft-side bug in commection with datapacks. and it’s known for over a year. soooo….

@@fupta6449 hey, so if you want a new world instead of playing the same world gen seed, you need to download the mod version, instead of using it as a datapack the datapack world is very nice, and has some of the best terrain at spawn, so I mean it's not bad, and you can get the pack with different seeds for terralith but you need to download a new datapack every time, I would say use the mod instead, it makes the game run smoother too as you can uses mods like phosphor with optifine or sodium and Lithium to run the games smoothly and with shaders If you would like.

The lighting is from a shader, and the awesome terrain is from a mod called Terralith which was recently updated. Terralith is also available as a data pack.
