My thoughts on the cutscene at 1:05:36 : When I played it, I was also able to trigger the cutscene with Timmy and Eric again, but I also saw a playthrough, where they encountered the big slushy mutant stuck in the door, so they couldn't enter again. The difference was, that I didn't gather all the important items the first time I was down there - I missed the golden armour. So I think you only trigger the cutscene again, if there is still something to gather down there. If you got all the items, the area is closed of, and that's all to it. Although i really enjoy your theory about the time loop on this part!

I like the animations for the attacking conjoined mutants, I think it would be cool if they could make them like two separate entities(like maybe if one dies they will flee and just be dragging the lifeless mutant still attached). This game looks awesome definitely will buy

14:00 - I was able to perfectly recreate this bug by adding all of my skin bags to the crafting area instead of one at a time as they intended and opening them one after another.

I think making defenses as your "house" it's much more sturdier than actually making a house. Mutants just "The wolf and the three piggies" it down so fast it feels useless, or it self-breaks fast. Make a spiked log wall and it's tough for mutants to bring down, might as well just surround an area with spiked logs and set that bag and sticks house and that's it. As if a house has 10 HP but the walls have 1000 HP. ( Even though they're made of the same material) kinda makes no sense, they need to buff that, after all "The Forest" ones were much more reliable.

Its likely Sahara (think thats it) had the cube activated once the island was occupied by the new owners, hoping their death would result in the island being able to be bought again?

i’m only 2:53 in, but i already love this! 100 days videos of games i play are my favourite, & i’ve been looking forward to seeing a 100 days of sons of the forest video since the day the game released. i personally finished it in 89hrs [a lot of that was leaving the game open… whoops], but the story is incredible & so is the latest update! this game is 100% gonna go down in history as one of the best games of all time… hopefully

I fast forwarded because I hadnt seen anything of this game and wanted to see what mid game would look like. 45:12 is what I landed on. WTF is going on there???? How are you alive, that seems unreal. You literally accelerate at what feels 3x normal rate and you crash into a boulder and a dozen trees! I couldnt stop laughing because of the yuxtaposition between your calm, narrating voice and music, and what I believe the thoughts of your character would be, "holy fucking shit!!!!!!!!! i fucked up". I mean, at one point you even reach probably 30 meter height, oh my god my stomach

The calming background music with your calming voice combined with a silly humor while blasting inhuman tall mutants with a shotgun in a cave inside a mountain that turns out to be a volcano is quite extreme to an extent I didn't know was humanly possible🗿

Just rewatching the Cutscene. It honestly looks like there could be several versions of him during that split freakout before the city appears. As if the timelines are all converging in the cube and it is the reason you're not turned into mutant.

Good video for sure ! Only thing is, there might be a big difference in quality with some aliasing options and all that in ur editing software, so not ingame settings obv I know its impossible to fully get rid of but when you go from open land to thick forest its very visible

such a calm video! i watched it in two parts. loved the original forest, but doubt i will play sons of the forest before it's completely finished game. the story in this game doesn't make any sense, it's full of holes. i like the way there's kelvin and virginia around, who can help you surviving and building in the forest. you showed us absolut everything there is to do or see in this game before it gets major updates! probably gonna take a few years before the game is complete. then i will play it. this is the first video i saw in ur channel and you got a sub✌️

what are the chances of developers adding options of knocking out cannibals then putting them in cages to train them as followers or workers ? Also options to save other characters around like that girl with 3 arms or the guy "doing a Peter Pan" of that window or the one that is late to enter the cube and so on.

My ending cutscenes were different. I left in the chopper with Kelvin & Virginia. She was also in the cutscene in the elevator. I think Kelvin was in there with us as well.

There's a hanglider and some other stuff in the game now. Also if you used the log duplication glitch when making your town it probably would've been finished earlier, just like if you had Kelvin. Also poor guy.

I had a gamebreaking bug in the lava section, luckily I was playing with a friend, but we were both lotally blind except if we were standing 5cm away from the lava, took some time working through the section. Didn't get to see the final cutscene due to the blindness, but now I know

I'm making this comment @ 1:17:19 I haven't watched much about this game other than this video because it's well put together, but Kelvin helps build and source items. The 3-legged woman can hold weapons and shoot infinite bullets or arrows, which makes her good for hunting and helping you whenever you are close to her and getting attacked by mobs.

To go up a ledge with the zip line, if you can stick it to a log, I would make a log stack on the edge of the ledge and make it so the zip line takes you to the logs so you end up on top of the ledge.

The cube mutates everything depending on the Vicinity , that's why in caves there's mutants and on the surface there are deranges cannibals

It's not a bug when you make something alot of times it just speeds up the building of that item tho it resets if you log out and back in again

Your theory about timmy and eric might actually be true because in the security room in the Food and Dining Bunker you can see an Article about Eric exposing Sahara with a Picture of him. It looks quite similar to the Man with the Shotgun

i mean the giant launching you into the sky was a bug but once it was expressed by the players how much fun it was they kept it as a feature. thaat would by that logic the sled bug would stay too.
