@@finhula you're right...Google subtitles are brilliant, because of them i can access 80/90% of English KZfaq. But there's rarely grammar, punctuation or use of the subtitles for nuance/texture. No editing to match the creators content....this channel does, which is my point.

I can see how the way this episode ends allows the story to progress. There's a clear overall narrative being set up here. He'll return to big bear, there's no way he can leave Alexis and live with himself at the same time. But this gives him a chance to meet up with Ruslana and bring the two things the town REALLY needs to survive long-term. A TRUSTWORTHY boost to their numbers, and the agricultural base to sustain it. The fact is, any town post-appocolypse simply won't survive without that. They have the arms to hold back an enemy, but not the means to avoid their enemies' fate.

i can see it as a possible out come. and have another outcome of it. instead of him being able to go back to the town. after a few days the town came to him. they said that they gotten the news that 3/4 (our just the amount to out number) of the enemies team would come and get them, so they fleed of the out numbering people and to be safe. and they tell him to not worry about the food log term, because they brought both argacultiral items (seed, veggies, fruits and all) and packed items (canned items like sausage, fish in can ,etc). none the less with the few marks left by him they managed to find him and were lucky to find him. now the story goes on by them finding a ne place.

@@xdg938 its a nuclear war and its a story for now. but just like in life there are alternative times. even just the topping on your bread in the morning can be a change of the future. for christ sake if germany and its allies had on either WW1 or WW2 then it ould have been taken longer to get to the world we live in now. so the mentioning of a 2nd story makes it possible to see the options, wich is always better because you can then make your judgement better like seen in the video. besides it was in my oppinion beter to choose both (standing neutral) because like seen furture down the line, man power and skills are needed.

@@derricksheltra6748 That is the secret. When you are having to take the role of protector you can't allow for weakness. While the others in camp may have serious issues and be afraid of you if the results are they get to live in relative safety compared to others with soft leadership it is for the best. The Chief can be your friend but you want your war leader to be your nightmare. Also with everything else going on cannibalism and all that fun I think it would be the least traumatic thing they have seen in a long time.

To be clear, this series has been nothing short of amazing. Between the thoughtful details, consistent narratives, and human elements, viewers (myself included) can't help but stay engaged with the drama. If this were to be the concluding segment of the story, I would still say BRAVO, and WELL DONE! That said, if there is more saga to be told, I most certainly would welcome it.

Great job writing and narration on the series so far.....has potential for something more such as a short story series or graphic novel, etc. In addition, i am sure somebody on the top-tier prepper channels may be interested in a YT interview or podcast with ya! Nice work, quite enjoyable. I can see the reasoning Stenson followed but sending a trained combatant away seems...emotional. If protagonist had wanted to hurt the town, he'd've already done it!

Who says he would have done something already? He could be coming up with a very well thought out plan for all Stenson knows. But the main point is that he lied, so he can't be trusted from then on. Someone who can't be trusted and has shown the capability to take down 6 men like he did is a potential threat, so the safest play is to kick him out.

As a nurse, I once had a patient who had been shot one time. The bullet only clipped his liver and his right kidney. This patient did not make it, because the liver is responsible for making a protein called albumin. Albumin keeps your blood and plasma inside the blood vessel. Without it, your body essentially floods with fluids, as do your lungs. This patient eventually passed away from ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome). Robbie, in this scenario, would not have had much hope for the same reason. It would be compounded by the fact that this was a rifle round as opposed to the pistol round used against my patient. The rifle round has much more energy and is capable of completely rupturing nearby organs when the energy disperses into nearby tissues. I am certain you would not have been able to: 1. stop the bleeding, or 2. provide long-term care that would be needed and sometimes is unsuccessful even in a hospital ICU.

I personally don't mind since I like binging, heck i've watched the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy (extended edition) in one sitting, multiple times before. But I can see why some wouldn't like it if it were too long since they had to watch the same video in multiple sittings.

I've been loving this series from the start! I'm hoping that the next episode would involve the Surviving National Guard ending up making contact with the protagonist (as a result of them conducting Search and Rescue for the crashed V-22), and helping save Big Bear/launch a counter attack against the bandits

This is great! I’m caught up to day 300! Think I’ll listen to some Stalingrad history, then maybe listen to the whole story again from the beginning. Thank you for a good cohesive story. Exactly why this is a plot hole. There's no way they would have kicked him out. Not only is he too valuable but he earned his place. Also the little white lie he told was totally understandable and the only way they would have let him in.

My heart stopped when you ended up wandering again alone after being nearly a year with your “family” 😢. But I think everyone, especially Alexis, would be very extremely stressed and they’d probably end up sneaking out of Big Bear looking for you in panic and not well supplied and dying out in the cold

I thoroughly enjoyed the first 2 parts of this and I have been very eagerly waiting for the next episode...needless to say...I was not at all disappointed.
