Just to clarify for all those wondering about the shadows! It’s due to the infrared lights on top of the surveillance cameras and the handheld camera. Infrared light is not visible to the human eye! You will find a similar situation to other KZfaq videos based around this idea 😄

first time i had to be in the dark was when i was 13, went camping with 2 mates and stayed in a "den" that consisted of a single tarp over our heads... we had no tent, sleeping bag or even food. as of i can go walk through thick woods calmly and its so much better than daytime thats when everything is sleeping and ur seriously alone. also never use a torch as you can only see as far as the light goes, things can see you while u cant see them and your eyes are alot more powerful in the dark you need them to adjust

I am a 71 year old woman n I'm absolutely terrified of the dark. Always have been. I sleep with my bedroom light on every night. Respect for these young men. I simply cldn't do it, not even 50 minutes, let alone 50 hrs!!!

This weirdly feels similar to my experience at the peak of my chronic pain & chronic fatigue ~5 years ago... it felt like me as a person was locked away in the darkness while my physical existence was in the "real world". I spent a lot of time mentally locked away, couldn't even tell you the timescale of it other than the worst period lasting maybe 6 months? with fluctuations from just about able to take part in some life, to being basically bedbound but unable to stop moving since the pain would be unbearable otherwise. Predictably, your brain can only take so much of this, and I ended up dissociating a lot of the time and going into my own mind to cope. I'm very thankful I have a super vivid imagination and can realistically replicate senses in my mind otherwise I think I'd have gone even more mad than I did 🤣. I luckily managed to push through during the short windows of functionality I had and get the medical care I needed to get out of the hole I was in, and haven't experienced that level of intense pain & fatigue in years now. However, I am weirdly grateful for going through all of that even though it was horrendous - because it kinda broke my brain in a way that means I rarely get embarrassed or scared of anything... most uncomfortable things seem insignificant now and I feel like I can handle most things having got through that really rough time. Idk what exactly I'm trying to say, but after youve gone through any panic and boredom in a situation like this, there does come a point where you're almost at peace? it's a useful frame of mind for thinking all sorts of things over at least 🤷🏼‍♀️
