So the idyll phase in this map fits quite well if I'm honest, in-between the nether and the desolate lands, it's a nice little break to just chill out and have a good time without too much worry. Also I so 100% support u not doing all hardcore all the time. It gets old if it's all that goes on, and this lower stakes fun time "let's play a map and tell a story" deal is very nice.

Speaking of silverfish there is a video of a silverfish xp farm using the create mod. It's nice to see they finally get a use. Cobble farm then smelt then haunt with soul campfire. Then place and break and loads of silverfish spawn and you can get xp from them for mending whenever you want.

I tried this mod and mistakenly made everything out of wood too. A ghast spawned in the nether phase and it completely destroyed my villager platform along with all my villagers. I rage quit right after that.
