I was going to say I don’t agree with this but when you look at the stats, he only played 6 times and only twice he played the full game, Scored 1 goal and never played from the quarter final onwards. So that’s a fair assessment

Only if your manager you can, What you do is put a player in the position you want him in and if you holiday you select “use same tactics” & “use selected team when possible” as instructions for the Assistant.

@flankycameron would just be way too much to organise and I wouldn’t see no benefit from doing that with another creator unfortunately. We already did the reaction to other rebuilds including hoods, to give a nod to the rest of the community.

So a player who plays in a tournament but doesn't play in the final isn't a winner? So Ronaldo is almost not a Euro 2016 winner? Or do substitute goalkeepers never win trophies, for example?

Messi only played 2 90 minute games, scored 1 goal and never featured after 1/4 finals. I’m pretty sure he himself wouldn’t claim that one.

@@Ditekks Let’s work out if he played half ok… I calculated this already so Barcelona played 13 games x 90 = 1170 mins. Messi played 322 minutes. Which means Barcelona played 848 minutes of football without Messi. And honestly especially as a top and humble player such as Messi I’m pretty sure he would only want to be classed as a winner if he contributed a reasonable amount.

@@Ditekks I have to disagree with you, playing 1 minute doesn’t make you a champion nor does getting a medal. Your also stating he was an important player in the groups but not really, overall he played the equivalent of 2 games out of 6 in terms of minutes, and 115 mins of the games Vs Chelsea. As I said I’m sure messi himself won’t acknowledge he helped win that champions league. Messi is an unbelievable talent and probably the Best ever and I prefer Ronaldo and I’m saying that, but that season he never played a significant part in Barca winning that title. A substitute goalkeeper Scott Carson for example isn’t going to look back on his career and claim he won the league with Man City because let’s face facts he never, he was just part of the squad.
