AA GRIGGS. Only talking about them the other day when I bumped into an old driver who got me a job with them out of Avonmouth! Watchet paper mill and sudbrook were regular! Both closed now and the Watchet one was a nightmare on the A39, especially in the summer!

It's great hearing the story's and history on the cars at the vintage shows. Especially the cars thst have been in the family since new or nearly new. I don't think a brand new car now in 50 years time will have the same appeal

Cars now days are built to be replaced and breakdown after so long, so really if you think about it, it’s more of an achievement for a new car to last 50 years of being driven! Which I don’t think will be possible…. These new cars can’t survive being driven for 50 years, so the only ones we will see are ones that got brought and parked. What’ll be more impressive in 50 years, will be seeing the stuff that’s then 100 years old still working

Looks a great show, love all the old trucks, being a more mature chap, I've seen a few of those in the roads over the years. Just wish there were shows near me with trucks as well as cars 👍 my older brothers first truck was a Commer TS 3 tipper, then if I remember right a Guy Big J 6 tipper, after that it was a couple of Foden 8 wheel tippers.

Wud love c how the trucks Ave changed my first one was a 250 skip wagon at lavelles waste it was a monster lol I currently ave 8 wheel tipper 450 full alloys they just got 2 770 heavy haulage ones lovely 😍
