Saving pineville seems like a no-brainer to me. They have one of the best maintained shows in the entire country and their techs are so passionate about what they do.

What matters to me is Corporate actually retracted their statement on Northridge being the only retro store. This news brought a huge smile to my face! Come on Pineville! seriously appreciate the update chris, feeling a lot more optimistic about things now. i think a stage people should be talking about more is milwaukee’s 1-stage; still has the showroom walls from its PTT days, complimented by absolutely gorgeous lighting. it’s a phase 5 which might disappoint some people but if they can keep those walls, they absolutely should imo.

I went here a few weeks ago! THE MANAGER TOLD ME THIS... I SERIOUSLY THOUGHT HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT. This is actually so crazy dude.. Basically what he said was they were talking to cooperate about it and they said they had no plans to do it to this store soon, but the way he said it was in the way that he was hinting about it becoming a hybrid. Idk, I'm just jumping all over the place at this point, but im very glad to see this store getting saved!

I think if Pineville doesn't get saved all credibility is out the window because that is the best preserved stage out of all the store's that still have a stage #savepineville

I hope Pineville will get saved! It has a lot of historical significance to CEC, and it would be awful to lose the bots. I'm a Cajun girl, and most of the CECs near me no longer have bots, but I'd be grateful for other states keeping their bots. Honestly, the whole "destroy the bots" process reminds me of how Six Flags treated their pre-Looney Tunes theme park mascots. It makes me especially angry in the case of Six Flags Astroworld's mascots [Marvel Mcfey and His Enchanted Animals], because Rolly Crump helped design the characters!

I filled out a form that Chuck E. Cheese posted. I hope that the Catonsville location keeps their robots, and their remodel is based on the 1988 Showbiz Pizza Time merger remodel, with the dim lighting. I hope Chuck E. Cheese gets his older cosmetics, like for instance, the tuxedo and bowler hat. I never got to go to the Essex location, which is a good and bad thing at the same time because it was smack down in the middle of a ghetto, but the animatronic characters looked so cool, and I loved the dim lighting that I saw in some pictures of the place. So, I want the location to be a retro store that looks like Essex (when it was still open), but without the bad parts of Dundalk haunting it. If they didn't save their robots, I'd hope they'd move them to a location further up north, like maybe even open up a location in Ithaca NY

Phew. Well, that is a relief for the Pineville 3-Stage, at least for the planning. I still hope it gets saved though, but we’ll see what happens. Since Nanuet is saving its Studio C Beta, but with only the Chuck E bot, that will be something, despite it not programming for a couple of years. I kinda doubt that this will happen for that location, but it would be cool if they bring back the blue screen and camera for the kids, even though the screens between the former blue screen and Chuck E stage are now flat screen TVs. Sure, the company is still doing the dance floors and giant TV nowadays, but this is like an idea for the Studio C Beta to be nearly perfect, since they’re making Nanuet hybrid, despite Nanuet being a petty choice for a second retro location. Also, I am very surprised that corporate confirmed that they are doing this mesmerizing treatment to several stages in several different locations. That could probably bring some older fans back, like me, lol. Because of that, I kinda doubt this as well, but it would be really cool and heartwarming to have the entertainment department of CEC bringing back the covers of pop, rock, and country songs that everyone knows, including new material, not just the original songs that the company makes, just only for the 2.0 locations that kept the animatronic stages through the remodel process. That helped me get into more music, when I was younger. I wonder if they would bring the Studio C styled dialogue back for breaks between songs as well, but as new material for Nanuet. But then again, I heard rumors about the proposed retro store list for Chuck E. Cheese to have more than two locations on there, and if this is true, then this will be heartwarming.

I think Brookfield Wisconsin should be the store they use if they save an Alpha stage. After all, it was one of if not the first Studio C Alphas out there.

I wonder if them having more hybrids would mean that perhaps CEC Corporate might be rethinking removing the animatronics? I'm not saying they would make any new stores with animatronics, they'll all be 2.0, but maybe corporate is getting information that keeping some animatronics would be beneficial for the company. After all the animatronics were a major part of the business when it started all those years ago and to get rid of all of them would be 100% a mistake in the long run.

Yeah, I’ll be taking this with a grain of salt, as like mentioned, CEC said Northridge was going to be the final location with bots, and as much as I question why they’d choose a Beta stage, we’ll just see what happens.

Nanuet was a horrible choice, the second choice to pineville was Hicksville NY yet the company completely ignored our request and chose some random ass store no one was asking for, as the show technician at Hicksville this is a huge FU to my face and the company clearly doesn’t care about stage condition. It’s just whatever they randomly decide

Something to consider since the question of "will he perfom" was dodged, is that they have saved a couple of stages and send them to Topeka. They could replace Chuck with one of these stages rather than reprogramming Studio C again.

I probably will sound biased about this, but hear me out: Portage, Michigan would probably have been the best Studio C store to save. It was a full Phase 3 with absolutely no Phase 4 or 5 art, it was the second to last location to keep the center console, it was the last to use a projector to play shows instead of a tv, it was the last location in Michigan to keep show room/studio walls, and it used to be a Discovery Zone. It also is a large store, and I believe the largest in Michigan. For me, it’s more special because it’s my childhood CEC, but I digress. It also had one of the best Studio C Alpha stages in existence and I think it was stupid to take it out. I haven’t been in it since 2012, but I do believe that it still has showroom walls. I feel like alot of stages are going to be saved. Because maybe chuck e cheese corporate is liking the hybrid stores alot more, i know it sounds weird but just maybe cec corporate is finally realizing we want to animatronics to stay. and also for the people that want the remodel making them happy with the dance floor but also the animatronics.

Something that would be cool is if they had a retro store for each stage time that is more recent obviously not a rocker or balcony stage but like road, 2, 1, 3 stages and that kind of thing would be good because it would honor all of the more recent stage types

Wow, speaking of Chuck E. Cheese, yesterday, I past the Gurnee, IL location, and they still have the Phase 4 remodel with a Studio C Beta, while I went to go to Six Flags Great America. Gurnee's plan getting a 2.0 is unclear.

if it ended up being just nanuet and northridge i would've never set foot in a CEC again, this is good news though, let's just hope they keep their word (which they seldom do)

I feel like the only one crying to save the bellevue 1 stage. the tech there really cares about the show. ive talked to him in person. it means a lot to me and it means a lot to every cec fan in washington state as the last functional show in the state. i would really love to see it saved though I know im one of the only people asking for it.

If that’s the case we need 1 hybrid store in each state with a bot, doesn’t matter what the stage is ..but there HAS to be at least 1 working show in each state if we’re being logical

I think it's pretty clear now that CEC is only interested in saving stages near big cities. Northridge is near LA and Nanuet is near NYC. They probably wanted to save Nanuet regardless of the stage type. Maybe pretty cool means taking the Beta stage out and installing Huntsville's 3-stage? Jk... but how awesome would that be? I don't think they are going to be interested in saving Billings since Tallahassee and Altoona are both bigger areas and those weren't good enough. Hopefully Charlotte is a big enough city for them though...

Sadly all of the art in the Warren/Niles store was destroyed to oblivion. I even asked if I could take a piece of something home and they said it "all has to be destroyed" Chuck was demolished to smitheries as well. Even the MUST C's were full of sledgehammer holes etc.

Apparently Altoona PA's 3-stage is getting torn out tomorrow night. That's the closest 3-stage to me so I'm pretty upset over it.

I wanted to go visit the Northridge location during my trip to California last month but my trip was so busy with other stuff I didn't have time. It would be real nice if they had a balcony stage or created a balcony stage hybrid on the east coast. Something for the super old school fans.
