Great vid Alex! Stoked you found the challenge useful and that you're putting it towards your biz channel. P.S. I hope your relationship with the Owl is improving.

I'm literally going to start tomorrow this very same challenge because of Thomas Alex's video! I want to build my business audience on social media, mostly TikTok and as you said at the beginning, I kinda freeze up a bit while trying to talk on camera. So wish me luck!! I'll share my results in 30 days! :)

@@DawitBayulgn a like brought me back to this video haha... I did it! It honestly took me a month and a half due to the holidays and getting sick during the month, but it was worth it. I definitely felt more confident and started to find out what type of topics I like to talk about better. It was fun and I recommend it :)

I decided to subscribe to see how well you do in the next six months (you are at 129 subs today), wishing you the best to reach the 1000 subs within the year. I like how you improved within 30 days with more confidence. I plan to do the same thing for 30 days. Good luck to you!

Thank you for the comment and for subscribing, much appreciated. Once I get my filming and editing equipment I’ll be posting more content. Also wishing you the best with your 30 days challenge I’m sure that you will do great 👍🏻

Wow, the difference was so visible in your body language and the way you expressed yourself, even after the first 11 days and especially by the end! At the start you were skittish and quieter, the last few times it was loud enough, concise and smooth. Your girlfriend is funny for some of those prompts, not to mention your menace of a loud nightly neighbor. I'm thinking about doing this because I'm kind of horrendous at public speaking ans I really need to improve. Since I can't rent a crowd every day, recording myself and practicing speaking more is the next best thing. Your progress really motivates me to start!
@alex_oleksandr6 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for the comment😊, you should definitely give it a go, especially if you’d like to get better with public speaking. You will do great as you have a very good reason for why you doing it 👏🏻

The main problem while talking to a camera is the lack of 'COMFORT'. Most people aim to be 'confident' instead of 'comfortable' in front of a camera 📸. Being loud and clear definitely helps to increase the confidence but causes monotone in the voice. So, 'be natural' and 'make a lot of mistakes' instead of hiding them. Then, note down the mistakes and try not to make them next time. I am also in the process of improving my communication skills in front of a camera and this video definitely helps!✌

Great video. Im in a similar situation to you. Although, i am a little bit more introverted. I wanted to challenge myself talking to improve my articulation, and it's frightening how you can be overwhelmed by a 3.5cm lens! Um, um, um.i tthougnt i had a little bit of confidence, but this was shattered when i watched the video. Im on day 4 at the moment. I know it's going to be tough, yef i shall perserve. Keep up with youtube. You've got a natural talent in front of the camera.

If you know its not going to be published on youtube, it wont feel real. You have to do this with the knowledge that people will see it. It harder to think about something good to share, actual knowledge. Then speak to the camera, practice with a teleprompter, practice reading and not looking like you are reading. Using expression, hands and body language. I prefer to speak to the camera standing up better body language. Too many KZfaqrs are just sitting at their desk talking to the camera. Come on, get outside, in a beautiful surrounding, talk about something you really believe in. What people want to see is good experience or knowledge shared in a story. This video worked for you because it is a STORY. If you really want to get better, grab a go pro and vlog in public, around lots of people, i practice in the grocery store, or even Home Depot. Larry

Great video and well presented. Some of your wee talks seem to last under a minute .. is that all you did for that specific day ... Surely if you do 3 or 4 exercises per day that 30 day period could be reduced to about a week. Regards from Whitley Bay

yes you are correct , if you have the time to do 4 exercises a day then that will reduce the whole process

Alex, you seem to be only making short form content right now. Any reason you are not making long form? I watched your DJI mic video. In that video you were saying "um, ah, and, so" a lot. You have reduced that greatly but even in this video you are still using that crutch when you have to think about what you are going to say, you use the phrase "and,, um" or "and, ah". Great progress. I am currently doing a 30 day myself but more towards trying to get motivated to start editing my videos again. Today is day 3. Thanks for adding to my motivation and keep up the good work. You are now 99 subs, cheers here's to 100.
@alex_oleksandr7 ай бұрын
Hi Bob, thank you for the comment, I currently don’t have any filming or editing equipment anymore, but once I get it all sorted I will be making more long form content again. Also I know it’s hard finding motivation but I think you will smash it 👍🏻 thank you for subscribing and I hope you will enjoy the content I will be making once I’m up and running again.

I would recommend to talk as much as you can about a subject and any bits that you don’t like cut them out in the editing process. The idea of this is to get comfortable talking to the camera and realising that you any mistakes you make you can edit them. Hope this helps.
