I hope you enjoy today's #Gadget #Testing #Vlog! I had so much fun testing these silly kitchen gadgets with my friend Jet Tila! He is an award winning chef who owns several restaurants and competes on many Food Network shows, including Tournament of Champions! We tested so many things, such as a snow cone maker, a tomato puree maker, handy can opener, a large pencil sharpener for vegetables, and more!

I was looking for this exact comment! My sister has one because her motor skills aren’t “normal” and all I could think when Ro was describing it was that she doesn’t realise the less materialistic purpose. 😅

Gadgets like the ring pull are great for people with mobility issues. I was kind of disappointed that nails were a consideration before adaptability.

I feel like the metal toothpick might just be for baking, not for teeth. Like when you test a cake, etc. Instead of having to throw it away you just wash and reuse, which I like because I don't like having to put the pointy sticks in the garbage and then poking through. So thumbs up from me!

For the peppers, I read of someone using one of those pointy, old scho dollar store peelers to core hot peppers. So I tried it. Works great. No need for anything fancy to core hot peppers, and it can go pretty thin.

@11:06 Its intended for tomato puree/sauce. You should be blanching the tomatoes first then you run them through the machine 2-3 times (multiple processing is normal even in high end versions). Verdict is still out on how well this model works.

Thank god someone mentions that. It's ridiculous how she has so many subs but the amount of views, likes, and comments she gets is underwhelming. It kinda feels like not many people are watching her vids. She has almost 15 mil subs yet I don't see many people talk about her. It's really sad... she deserves so much more

I still can't tell if they are trolling us or if they both really didn't know what the carrot sharpener is used for. It's used to make fancy pieces of thin carrot shavings. Like a pencil sharpener makes little ribbed pieces of pencil shavings.

I have cut my finger on a can with the convenient pull tab and every time I open one I am nervous to do it again. The pull tab is definitely a win.

To open pull tab cans I always take a spoon to pry it up. It’s for the nail reason, my nails break easily and I’ve learned my lesson. I think it would be great for folks with mobility disabilities or arthritis.

I love these gadget videos, they’re always so funny because there’s always a couple fails but there’s always still some really cool ones too. That ring pull helper/can opener would be perfect for disabled eg. neurodivergent/dyspraxic people like me because I find those things very difficult and with the tweaks Ro suggested the egg/merengue thing would be perfect for us too. I wonder if the one for pepper is supposed to be used on bell peppers 🫑 since it’s so big. Some of the other gadgets were cool too but some others…..not so much lol, I’m not too sure about that metal toothpick 😬

My "ring pull helper" is a "spoon" or a "table knife". On second thought, the "ring pull helper" would also be useful for those with arthritis in that it would help pull the lid up and off. Okay, I give it a 👍

When I saw Rhett and Link's advertisement for their ring can puller (which at least looks sleeker and would store better) I had the same thought "I was born with ring can pullers" and also have never had trouble opening them, even with short nails.

I'd say the last gadget is a fail, but I'm seriously considering getting the Carrot Sharpener. I cut vegetables for my mom a lot. Sometimes they are for our chicken, and sometimes they are for lunch or dinner, so that Sharpener would come in handy. By the way. I love your channel. Keep up the good work. Love you Ro.💜

for the pepper core one u have to cut the top off the pepper first and then use the thing and spin it down into the pepper

Working in an ice cream shop i had to do shaved ice and it was terrifying for sure. But it was fun. I love shaved ice and that little machine would be a good appliance for like a small stand at a football game or any event. Really cool.
