Thanks for making this video as I feel so irritated when some youtubers just recommend a Samsung budget phone or even mid range phone, just because they don't want to call out or if they are paid but calling it out so bluntly was needed because no matter how good their flagships are, they need to make their budget and mid range phones a value for money product.

Someone had to point out these software issues with Samsung flagships. Glad you did also another this is that once you finish disabling everything and you're all set,but everytime there's an update, all these things start coming again and you need to disable everything again.

Finally, someone talked about it. I come from the same creator-brand collab world, and I get it why creators don't highlight all the problems, but things like these should be pointed out.

The worse thing is that they got rid of OneUI Core now but now there's no uniformity between the features among budget Samsung phones. I got an A14 last year and it doesn't even have smart view to project my screen to a smart tv or computer, even though an old M13 I had also has smart view. You can never be sure whether you are getting all the software features on your phone, my A14 actually got an update to OneUI 6 but all OneUI 6 features are missing, it's basically OneUI Core without the "Core". Also, Samsung's forum is basically useless.

I was using samsung m30s in 2020 and it is still with me as secondary phone it is very laggy and camera is absolute garbage but the i switched toh s21 and experience from switching between these two phone is crazy, like i can't believe both are the phones of same brand. The main reason is that samsung uses its brand image in their budget segment like kharidna hai toh kharido

Totally agree, on of my friend bought a34 (₹24000)last year, even though i recommended another he blindly went for Samsung...cause of the brand value. Now he is suffering the shutter lag on camera, the jitteriness and much more. Mid range Samsung is just bad.

The 3 Big problems you mentioned are Real problems but ultimately what makes me pick Samsung is the longitivity as the phones ages most other company budget phones don't hold up as they age...... My M21 and Tab S6 lite are fluid even after 4 years and offers as much as 75% of the original battery capacity even today..... Despite being a Tech Geek I don't change phones in 1-2 are as there's no point to it as the Smartphone innovations have reached it's Saturation sadly 😩 and other reason is obviously money like brainless spending 20-30k in the cycle of 2 years is totally waste 😂.

I really like samsung. But the fact that theyre messing up this bad in any segment range below the FE is just sad. The performance is just terrible. I mean, its not stock android. Its a heavy skin theyre shipping with performance thats not acceptable. Theres probably heat too, the phone gets hot randomly (my samsung does that so im assuming things havent changed). Besides no stereo speakers, like wth? how are you not giving that of all things? Theyve been doing that even in phones that cost over 20k. Now its even worse. Usually the one ui "core" name would tell you that the phone doesnt support some samsung things. Now you cant even tell that. How am i supposed to know that the features you made, which you dont even advertise work with this phone?? At that point its just a worse deal to buy a samsung.

Samsung is basically the Toyota of mobile phones. Samsung phones are underpowered/slow for the price , may be a bit overpriced but every reliable They last long, have that QDR factor to them And brand value , after sales is top notch.

Bro i purchased the f15 on its launch and you are completely right. It struggles in basic tasks. I did some optimization following an XDA arcticle which improved the overall smoothness. But tbh i feel this version of one ui is too heavy for this setup. Either that or samsung have not optimised it as nicely as they could have. Starting any task causes micro freezes.

Rupesh, I get and agree with what you're saying but I have the 6/128gb variant and it has no lag whatsoever even when playing DB Legends. I just thought you should know that maybe Samsung's trying to push it's customer to forcibly take the higher variant. Although, one thing that I'll complain about is the software updates. It's April but my phone has the update of February. (No update since the purchase)

In some videos, I saw that the One UI app's battery restriction is creating lagging issue. So, you can try to change the battery restriction setting of "One ui" app inside the setting.

I'm also using a Samsung budget phone, the Galaxy F23 5G. However, after the One UI 6 update, it's been experiencing significant stuttering and frequent hangs, making the user experience less than ideal. Moreover, the shutter lag of the camera has become unbearably slow, and the phone tends to heat up excessively. Overall, it's been quite disappointing. Mine variant is 4GB /128GB (RAM/Storage)

I am Samsung budget phone m20 use.. every time i restart the phone its asks those sneaky settings and the performance is the worst takes at least 2 minutes to open phonepe then unlock it open the Camara twice because first time doesn't work and payment...

I'm using m32 4g facing slight lag issues but performance overall is okk camera does it's job for 15k good amoled display with 90hz one ui 5.1 not the core is fine but lacking the goodlock feature and waiting for one ui 6 hope I'll get it this year

This is my favourite series in Samsung, I own the F14 5G [One year older] works absolutely amazing. PS: I bought lenses for the main 50 MP camera

Thank you Rupesh bro..very much needed this video. Samsung ought to pay attention to this video. The 3 major problem you pointed out is truly the reason why the budget segment sucks. Most people can compromise with the camera and bulkiness but when the performance is poor, the ui lags, it's such a nuisance. Samsung please fix this.

FYI the intro music sounds fine on earphones but on Phone/Laptop speakers (speakers with more sharper/shrill higher end and less depth/bass) the music (piano notes especially) makes overpowers your voice, to the extent I thought I had a different tab open at first.

Now that looks shiny and attractive in the video. When you put a case within a week you will see lot of dots and minor scratches which makes the build questionable.

You got a point sir...even i also get messages to recommend phones under 20k and being an extremely biased samsung user i never recommend samsung in this budget because since 2018 till date there have been loss in performance advancement and premium feeling in samsung. I remember what samsung was under 20k back in 2018 2019 2020 but after 2020 they eventually shifted their focus on phones above 20k and nowadays they are shifting the prices to a higher range. I purchased galaxy a33 in 2022 at around 25k which was i feel a satisfying price for this though i compromised with tear drop notch. But then a34 and a35 have went through such a price hike of 5k. It is enough to make people think either yes or no for samsung

I'm using a budget *Samsung Galaxy A13* and I have no major issues with it but still needs some improvements. Pros: - Design: looks great. I don't actually care about the notch and bezels. I think the notch on this phone doesn't annoy the looks - Battery is excellent. Lasts for almost 4 days without charging(from 85%). Charging is 15w which is ok but could've provided 25w. - OneUI 6: feature-packed and beautiful. - Decent performance for daily use. Cons: - OneUI is beautiful and full of feature but still lacks optimization. - As you said Camera app is laggy sometimes. - The camera quaility is good but doesn't meet the price and specs. - Shipped with Exynos 850 which is "ok" for normal use. Overall I think the A series is a great.

M16 Reduse Bezels mainly the bottom one and give 1.5k resolution flat display and for M36/56 1.5k curved. Remove 2MP sensors and try to give 13mp wide angle camera at least in M16...see competitors in India and please upgrade design from grandparents phone to latest trendy one

I am that blind user who picks Samsung over everything thing else. What you said about missing features is true. Recording under 15k is always missing. 6 month ago I purchase a Samsung f14 5g I was surprised to see that smart view (screen mirroring) was missing. I have been using Samsung from 2019. I have user like 3 smartphone of Samsung under budget. M20, M21 2021 Edition, Currently I am using F34 5G and yes the laggy experience just never ends its always there.

Using the Xr.. I don't mind the thick bazels tho..but might as well make it symmetrical..i mean since Samsung starting to use OLED displays on their budget smartphone so why not? Camera is not my kinda forte so i don't mind much about it..performance well..since I'm occasionally do some mobile gaming so yeah.. it's the most important thing I'm focusing when buying a new smartphones..i think it's time for budget smartphones to use a SoC that is same as SD 855/768G or SD 865..it is the current minimum requirements for todays apps and games..also it helps to keep the devices to be used for a maybe couple of years..since Samsung also starting to give long software support..need an appropriate SoC to keep up with that..
