Quick misinformation adressing, scratch has been made for people from ALL ages, though it's understandable for people to think it's made 100% for kids due to the big numbers of trash projects.

I remember I was once part of a Scratch studio called the "Top 10 Bad Numbers Remix Stupidio" where we just remixed this one project repeatedly until it was unrecognisable. It had lore and everything. It also featured a lot of references to drama from a fanmade Numberblocks show we were "working" on (it was mostly drama) and some things that should definitely be on a kids website (like Danganronpa and MLP creepypastas). The guy who made the original project already hated us and I'm pretty sure this didn't help.

I imagine this was like a horror game for ELEVENZ. It’s impossible to know what comes next and you risk getting demonetized or worse. Plus, it was scary for me too. The hesitation mixed with the silence (or in some cases, lack thereof) made it feel like a point and click horror game.

God… I’ve been on Scratch for 9 years, and it’s progressively gotten worse and worse. I remember ScratchTeam featuring a project with SPERM, and I emailed them that children are going to look up that word because so many people were freaking out in the comments (when I looked up the word, when with safe search, I was exposed to adult images), they were like “Sperm was used in an educational way so it’s fine yada yada”, completely ignoring that 8-year-olds were now aware of what a penis looks like because so many comments were like “WHY IS THERE SPERM??? Don’t look it up if you don’t know what it is!!!” Meanwhile, there’s a TON of Hazbin Hotel content. I’ve seen the song Loser Baby posted many times, and kids claim that it’s “censored” while leaving sexual innuendos like “I’ve got no holes left to deflower” and drug names like “dope”. The filter is also messed up. I’ve seen people say things like dogshit, just straight up shit, groomers, zoophilia, and occasionally I see people begging KIDS to have sex with them on featured projects. I could go on and on about how terrible Scratch is and the countless emails I’ve sent them that expose them as incompetent. The “best” part is that in their TOS, they have a rule that says that the site isn’t responsible for what their members are exposed to. Their 8-YEAR-OLD members are at fault if they see 18+ images on their KID’S site. Additionally, there’s just straight up uncensored Cupcakke songs (she makes hypersexual music) Off topic, but eyyyy I show up briefly at 17:12
