Great video!.. Keen to try this out for sure. May I ask, what happens if you get in on a signal (sell for example) and then it crosses above the zlsma but you’re not in profit. do you wait until it crosses back below and then close (if in profit) or do you wait for it to go back above again?

I like the buying setup. Everything makes perfect sense. The issue is when to sell. You should not wait until RSI gets to 10 or 90 depending on a Buy/Sell order. A stock may consolidate for weeks and then your are stuck. l use 6 MA as a sell trigger when price falls and BB when rises.

Results with Heiken Ashi in Tradingview are not reliable, it actually changes a lot and doesn't reflect the real price. Other thing you have not taken into account is that indicators repaint so doing a backtesting with past data instead of doing it with the replay tool (not possible with HA candles) is useless and could confuse to people who is looking for reliable strategies and have basic understanding of trading.

What you can do if you have pro or any other membership is that ypu can have 2 chart layouts on one screen so you can see heikin ashi and japanese candles at the same time. So whenever you see a signal on the heikin ashi chart , you search for entries on the japanese chart. For exits you check the japanese candle chart I think. I still have to check the exit but I have backtested it the real way and got 15% gain in 1 month so I think its a good strategy.

A lot of trading videos tell you not to take long trades if price is below the moving average line and not to take shorts when it is above the MA. However, price charts are full of pullbacks and retracements. Have you ever tried to define a strategy that allows all price direction trend moves to be traded ? Put differently, just trade the CE signals and ignore the MA ?

The reason most of the traders use MA is to double confirm the direction of the trend and eliminate potential losses. Thanks for this video, I have one question, if you detect a valid buy signal you cannot see where the prices going. In you video you suggest to set the stop profit somewhere when the price is crossing the MA but this you don't know when you go long? what do I miss?

Very interesting channel, I hope it grows fast. What you are showing is like human controlled algorithms. I trade stocks using price action and technical analysis. I am going to back test these strategies and see if the results are consistent and this simple. You only take a trade based off where the market is trending. otherwise you are trading against the trend. that's day trading 101(joking I've been trading for 8 years and have traded against the trend 1000 times lOL)

Great video. I'm not a coder just a newbie that copy/paste indicators code. I created an strategy for Crypto with your settings using Candle Exit - buy signal above ZLSMA and the strategy results are that Candle Exit alone is still better with buy and sell signal without using profit and stoploss. I cannot believe how profitable is this indicator alone in the strategy. I will use the Candle Exit indicator in my 3commas bot at 15 minutes with some high volatile alt coins to see if Heikin Achi affet the signal to the BOT.

For the Entry, when you mean "the price". You mean the closing price value from the candle, right? For example, when der is a Buy indicator, but the bullish green candle starts below the ZLSMA_50 but closes above, it is still a legit singal, right?

Thanks. My only problem with strategies that use Heiken Ashi candles is that you don't really can get a clear understanding of your profit. Entries and Exits are inaccurate, and you can't rely on a broken ashi candle to understand if your trade exits as a winner or a loser in ranging markets. I tried other strategies TradeIQ shared in his channel with supposedly better win rate and PnL growth, and really the results are not entirely clear. In small time frames, at least (1 to 5 min), Heiken Ashi candles don't give you good results.

The biggest problem of this strategy is that the entry and exit position will never be precise using the heikin ashi candle. Bad positioning will cause terrible risk and reward raio. What you did in the video were too idealistic. Not to mention that using the historical data to do backtest only got 51% winrate. Imagine what will happen trading with 49% loss rate, bad position and bad risk and reward raio in real time. Not suggest using it.

Maybe your just not comfortable with this indicator, ii works well with me with a good accuracy. If my entry aren’t precise i combine this strategy with another indicator i personally use stochastic to determine my entry if i don’t see it clear with exit chandelier. I also using this strategy on 1H it seems more clear for me.

I need a bit bit of clarification, I have backtested this indicator with NIFTY futures at a 15min timeframe as the 5min gave false signals I felt, or rather the 15mins yielded better results. But one thing I notice is in the live market sometimes a buy signal candle changes by the time the candle finishes its 15mins and the buy signal disappears. My question is what am I to do? wait for the 15mins candle to close with the buy signal and buy in the next candle ? any help would be appreciated. thanks

The problem here is that the “price” used to place positions is not the actual price, it’s the Heikin Ashe value. The video does not once switch to the Japanese candle view to see where a position would actually open (or close) which can be (not always, but often enough) very different from the Heikin Ashi candle value. Switch on the real price in the chart settings to see the difference.

Another problem is that noone takes fees into concideration. On bybit (which is one of the cheapest exchanges) you need at least 0.2% profit on trade to break even. Anything less makes your trade a loss (I assumed entry with market order and exit with limit). In most videos on youtube authors show trades with 0.14% profit and they are happy how profitable is their strategy... nope it's not.

Respectfully, seen systems like this before. My experience is that the candles that have already printed can change size and color on the chart after subsequent candles print. So looking at the chart historically it looks simple, easy and logical. But in reality the system gives false buy and sell signals and usually gets destroyed in ranging and non trending markets.

@@wilsonsmanz yes .this is stupid indicator...all these youtubers are stupid scammers....this indicator will change its buy sell call any time...it will tell u buy and when you do buy and market goes down it will remove that buy call and show sell call lol...so if u go back and check the charts old calls it will show 100% accuracy 🥲

@@wilsonsmanz I don’t know if this system repaints and resizes candles. But have experience with multiple systems that worked similar to this and found they all retroactively repainted the candles. It’s worth trying depending on your financial and time circumstances but if you find the candles are getting repainted I would move on immediately. That’s my super humble opinion

you can improve your accuracy by confirming the signal by 50 day smooth moving average . if its flat then don't take trade . if it makes a good angle trade can be taken. it is good for scalping if you trade the trend.

He said he was risking 2% every trade. So if we make an example where the stop loss is 0.5% away in order to risk 2%, 4x leverage would have to be used. 4x leverage multiplies gains and losses by 4x, so a 1% gain would be a 4% gain. Hope that helps

True< this is a scary time for new investors but the best thing you can do is not to make decisions based on emotions. This could actually be a good time to buy more of your high conviction stocks or crypto on a discount. Wealth is created during bear markets, not bull markets. If your portfolio is really effecting your mental health then delete the app and go for a walk. Let the market do its thing and have a long time horizon. i tried this and got an amazing 79% win rate. some trade closed at breakeven so i didnt consider them losses. however, most trades were 1:1.5 or less ratio. this means fees from binance eat up all profits....

The first indicator you added basically "re-paints" so when it's wrong, the indicator goes back in time and removes the signal as if it never triggered it and re-positions it. Stay away from these indicators bc when you backtest them, the results look phenomenal when it really isn't when trading it live.

So here is my concern with this strategy i analyze the charts using trading view and i take my trades on MT4 so i noticed the heikin ashi candles open and close are inaccurate compared to the real price candles opening and closing. its as if the heikin ashi candles are lying to me about were price really is which means the entrys and exits on your backtesting are all wrong compared to real price, perhaps you can help me understand.?

The high and low are the same as Japanese candles but the current price is different if u are placing a stop loss on the high or low of the ha candles its reliable but if on current its not

Heiken Ashi candles have open at the center of the body of the previous heiken ashi candle. High, low, and closing prices stay the same. A heiken ashi candle is a green candle because price closed above the center of the previous HA candle, not because that period of time had a close above it's open. In short, the heiken ashi charting style does lie to you. It's supposed to smooth out 'noise' and make it easier to read trend. You will see various anomalies: like a candle opening above it's high(or below it's low) . Bizarre phantom dojis and small bodies that only appear on a heiken ashi chart. (engulfing and piercing patterns usually get turned into these phantom dojis). Dojis and small bodied candles that would appear on an ordinary candle chart now have average bodies. Red shaven top and green shaven bottom candles are now very common. Gaps/windows no longer exist. This mostly negatively affects people who use candlestick patterns as part of their strategy. It should be noted that there is a small amount of lag in this system. Sometimes the price has been moving in the opposite direction of the prior move for 1 or 2 candles before the colour changes. This is most noticeable when the prior move was particularly sharp.

You are adding the entries and exits to the trades as if you know the real prices, but you dont because these are Heikin-Ashi candles.

Seems to work pretty good with my other indicators but 5 minute requires you to be watching until it crosses over or under yellow line. A better stradegy is on higher time frames seems to work just as well . I will try this out seems to help confirm with my other indicator Elite Signals is what I use in case you might want to know. :.)

Elite signals , same as the super trend , the UT bot , trusted signals etc etc etc , it will not make you profitable in the long run if you do not know how to trade so it’s better to have a mentor instead

Higher time frames the exit doesn't work as the exit is the same as entry if you use you MA.

I strongly advise you against salf trading, it's really dangerous and had brought so many investors down, you need someone with the knowledge and strategies, someone dedicated to the crypto currency market business, and I will strongly recommend expert Mrs Mabel Downey

This is exactly why you shouldn't learn to trade from KZfaq channels like this... The buy sell signal paint 2 candles before so you only get that buy/sell signal 2 candles after... Also you can't use indicators on Heikin Ashi candles, the candles are a lagging indicator. The price of the candle does not mean thats the market price at that time. Surely you would know this?

@@robyrogo1843 The buy and sell signals only print after 2 candles later. How’s that helpful? Use the replay tool and see.

@@TheManutdMayhem well it's helpful because even if you miss the entry by 2 candles (let's say we're long), usually the price will go up for some more candles , so yeah , even though it may drop the %rate winning of the strategy , it would drop by a tiny amount , but yeah , IT SURELY IS a down side that the signals appear late

Drop by a tiny amount? You literally cannot scalp with this strategy if you get the entry 2 candles later… Trade it on a live account over 100 trades and tell me how you go.

Just tested it on the BTC 5 min timeframe. Within the last 2 days I had about 20 trades and no one of them even hit 1:1 R:R win. Absolute shit strategy.

Have u try it with multiple timeframe analysis? 4 h for 15m, 1h for 5m.. for example, when buy appear at 1h timeframe, then you waiting for buy in 5m.
