Agreed atleat wooden raillway had easily available Alfie and Oliver. The joke is that in trackmaster Alfie was Canadian exclusive and Trackmaster Oliver was only released in Japan and the United Kingdom.

As much as I love both Wooden Railway and Trackmaster, I am excited to see a winner emerge. There is somewhat of a sophistication Wooden Railway has which I feel when I build a layout and I really enjoy that, and at the same time I never seem to get tired of playing with Trackmaster trains. Brilliant job on the track layout btw! Good luck for the results brother! 💪

Hold up… I think that tomy/plarail is better for standard gauge engines. (Wooden railway for some) then Wooden railway for the narrow gauge engines (are take in play for the previous some) and take-n-play for the arlesdale engines (Ertl for some) and I believe either ertl or wooden railway for the culdee fell railway. (This is for the scaling of the engines)

Honestly I love Thomas Wooden Railway so I like to collect it and collect them in their packages. I also have Trackmaster too even the AEG Trackmaster too. But Thomas Wooden Railway will stay with me like my love for trains including steam trains. You’re a great KZfaqr @thomascollectibles and maybe I could be like you!

I’m making my own scratch built wooden railway (mainly for myself, for now). It’s gonna be based more around the realism of OO gauge model railways. I’d love to show ya what I’ve been working on! (Currently still in the process of 3D modeling to get the proportions right to then be built from wood and plastic) I’m aiming to provide the same quality of construction as the 1998 - 2000 designs.

I need a roundhouse and a cool cranky like that. I have lots of generic wood but no thomas stuff for wood. Just plastic motorized stuff from 2011-whenever my first kid lost interest and some die-cast and little costume minis. Getting into the old Thomas shows with my younger child and want to get him trains so he will stop stealing his brothers.

I think trackmaster is a bit better than wood. Don’t get me wrong, twr is great, but most wooden trains aren’t motorized, so getting them around tunnels and curves is pretty tough.

Also u got Trackmaster 2 Percy with Trackmaster classic track. Get a classic trackmaster Thomas from 2007 and then you’ll see what I mean.

i would choose wooden railway cuz it could have existed a lot longer cuz wood is very common and could have been made in the book series era cuz look at the pull string toys like bugs bunny and the mattel mr ed talking puppet and wooden railway just is fire proof you have to know how to make a fire or light a lighter but with track master it can just be like something happends to the motor or batteris

Rock Master is better you can run trains you can make massive layout if you have a bigger enough table you can make Thomas customs you can make collections with them and you can have some expensive trains like Tommy Oliver‘s when were we are pretty cool but Trackmaster employee real and told me or better
