Thank you for sharing such a lovely motivating blog, I really resonate having gone through a hard seperation 2 years ago - now I'm just beginning to feel excited again and my old dream of spending time in Spain has started wispering in my ear again! Will look forward to your updates, sounds like Hope will have a lovely summer too (my beloved city cat is currently spending his retirement in the countryside with my parents as I like to say, and loves it!) xx

I go back and forth between the U.K. and Spain (and various other places in that time) and lockdown etc aside it’s been great for ~9 years! I’m 34, no kids, have worked remotely that entire time and own a house in Cumbria. I’m actually considering getting residency over there to not have to deal with counting the 90 days constantly. Hope you enjoy your new sense of freedom, you don’t have to decide on one place forever 😊

Hi Jess. Great to see you on another vlog. That looked like a nice walk. First of all, I completely empathise with the periods. My pms symptoms have got so intense too. I sometimes wonder if it's because I don't take any contraception? Perhaps women who take it find that eases their pms. Just wondered. Might be wrong. Love the outfits especially second one, long skirt and black top. So versatile and classy. I think you are embracing life more now after going through a very reflective period and now you are acting on what you want rather than just thinking about it. A lesson for us all! To not let life pass us by and DO what makes us happy. I do love your cottage too though. It sounds like Hope will be well taken care of. I'm really going with my instincts and feelings more too. I did mention when you were fretting and a bit overwhelmed last visit to Paris, that time would go fast and when you came back, you would miss the experiences you had. Why don’t you document this time your time spent and write about your experiences, maybe one day it will become another book. My summer adventure. Keep on the path your are now on, as I also too said we have to push ourselves to not live in negative pastimes and experience something nice each day, no matter how small. Paris is expensive! Unless you have money saved up, if not then it gets hard to find a large comfortable place right by the Eiffel Tower! Are you planning on giving up Hope if you move away longterm? We are taking our dog with us when we visit France on holiday - it just needed some planning with our vet and bookiong somewhere dog friendly to stay? It seems an odd choice to leave her again.

I love the black dress with the stars and moons . It moves so beautifully . The pink skirt is adorable . I like it with the tights and turtleneck and the cami and blazer . I can see Hope as a city dog if you ever moved there permanently. She’s very chic 😊

I'm probably gonna get so much hate for this but speaking as someone whose cat was once their baby, until I had an actual baby, you cannot compare leaving a pet behind to leaving a child! As the wife of man and the mother of a son I have to say my cycle issues (past) are not their problem nor the fault of men. We can’t fantasize our own personal difficulties would not exist if some other gender or group of people had the struggle instead. Saying if men got periods the problems associated with them would be solved is suggesting men can solve everything. We are 50% of the planet give or take why on earth can’t we solve stuff? Men have their own biological stuff that we don’t normally have a clue about.
