Should have stayed tied off to the lift. 12 point 14mm wrench fits over the spline of the bolt so that you can tighten the nut on the connection bolt.

How would you have "lost the column"? What does it mean to lose the column?

It has 4 anchor bolts with washers and nuts in the corners at the baseplate of the column. My foreman loosened two of those 4 so the column can open up or rock back and forth. I honestly don’t think we were even close to losing it but it moved a lot more than I thought it would and well he’s a lot more experienced than I am haha
