I think you missed the 6th tower. According to another video, it is the 20K emerald tower below.

I dont understand the psychology in nerfing something that is a pay-for reward....I was already getting disinterested in this, and now it's completely rubbish. I mean there ARE good prizes in the chests...but I guess the chance of getting them are small. What it encourages is that people will want to complete the map.....I won't any more.

if you go up from the starting point, then to the right and down, it looks like you can get the 500 BMBB and the 20k emeralds for about 22 moves, for some of the players looking to maximize on the moves they may have saved

Ironically, I think this actually helps F2P players. While the randomness is annoying, and some of the prizes have become less than they were before, the fact that you could get lucky and get a gift of dominion or a full red/orange item of your choice from time to time makes it more worth it to go to that one tower or two towers every month. Until now, most of the rewards on the shortest way to the towers have been mediocre or straight up bad, and while the chances are probably low, the fact that I occasionally will be able to get extra golden thread, skinstones or gift of the dominion/item chest, makes it more worth it to me. The big thing I am missing here though, is the emeralds, that they seem to have removed permanently... And I absolutely agree, red chests are the best chests, and should be the main target for anyone, but especially F2P

Just stop buying the moves you guys. I was buying the 8-week sub for about 6 months and never considered not buying moves as an option because "but I need them/sadface" BOO FUCKING HOO. I have since stopped buying moves and it really wasn't a loss to me like I thought it would be. Besides, I get plenty of them through the seasonal golden tickets and on my F2P account I get a moderately okay amount from the season's free tier rewards. Stop buying the moves, they keep moving the goalposts trying to see what they can get away with and if the players will still cough up money in return for the bare minimum( we see evidence of this around the game - the worsening rewards on the maps is a prime example!) . Stop buying the moves, you can do it!

There is no strategy with chests being random...thats like the whole bullshiy of spending 3500 threads to try and upgrade red and getting nothing...happened to me 3 times now 😑

I've already opened a few red boxes and only ever had 10 Erf potion. Chance only spits out junk. 🙂

10 moves from the beginning, went straight for the 1500x10 skin stones tower and luckily I randomly opened another 1500x10skin stones reward + 1500titan skin stones reward from the chests. i will have enough (seems like 21 r needed) moves not buying subscription for the 20k emerald tower before this map ends, will go for it then, maybe i will luck out again

it doesn't surprise me that they remove the single light house with the yellow gift of dominion, if you're like me you would just collect moves for free until you can make a trail straight for it, but this random chest loot, if real, encourages people to buy more subscriptions to play a explore the island for basically a gacha like game.

Islands weren't interesting to me originally. Now I have even less interest in going through randomized rewards.

This is really disappointing as now we can't chose the items we need on the island. They are more and and more greedy. And I noticed we did not have a Boxy gift for a long time. This tells me this game is already on the dangerous slipery slope!

There used to be 3 GOOD prizes with known location, inside towers... 20k emeralds, Red Item and Legendary GoD (Orange , equivalent to 40k emeralds). Now only the 20k emeralds is in a fixed locaton to go after!! i got exactly 4 moves from previous map and i need 18 moves to reach the 20k emeralds tower.... Thankfully One week subscription is enough to get them...

Why are they so Dumb ? Who want more randomness ? They just kill the RS offer.

Unless the drop rates are pretty good this looks like crap.

I saved 23 moves for this new island and at the first sign the chest system doesn't look interesting...sadly that the first island also didn't get my attention...need to look carefully and think in a better strategy (anxiety will not let me to accumulate moves for another month, i need to upgrade my heroes)

If the drop rates are sufficient, I think it might not be too bad... But it really depends on those rates... It DOES look pretty bad at first glance, though...

For me, i only pay for stuff if i know what im getting in return. Like last weaving season pass: red pattern haha no way! buy some more!! Everytime players find an optimal in this game ( weaving pattern + explorer subs + legacy event, or mysterious island only go for towers), Nexter comes and adjust the rewards downwards. Again and again this feels bad, like being pushed around. So no more move subscription for me. No more buy at the weaving event. I dont buy emerald dolls. If i run dry on resources and i lose interest i will move on to another game. Its just a game!

Well after they completely destroyed the patterns event do we really need a good map? It just makes sense to destroy the map too.

So i play this map and get random chests that may give me something worth my time? err no. What a waste of money. Before I would use the map to gather what items i would want or need. Now? I will just grab the towers and special chests and not bother with the rest. The ones in my way i will get but i will not stop to grab others because they would not give you something, they would merely have a chance to get something and I am sure it will be generous like 10 skin stones , or 50000 gold. WOOOOO hoooo but be sure to spend 80$ to buy the monthly ticket. In fact, why not skip the whole get anything and simply deposit your money with Nextor and bend over? They made changes to the map to entice people to spend and open more chest on the off chance they might get something , except they did not bother to put anything in the chests that was worth anyone time to go get. Great idea guys. just brilliant. Here's a radical. crazy idea.... If you want people to spend money. and here the crazy part, give them something that is worth the money you want them to spend. I know crazy right. Actually providing value for the money you want people to spend on. Like their billion daily offers. Almost all of them are C-R-A-P But they still want you to spend spend spend This day poo they have today, is basically spend money and spend more money and we might toss a miserly bit of tinket your way. I have a much better way to play. I ignore what they want me to do and if i actually get something while i play then good for me, otherwise. Forget Nextor.

I do not trust in the chests. I´ve got 2 prestige trophies in the las season and I only got two chaos cores (one per trophy). It was a big disappointment. Only gold was worse than the chaos cores between all the possible rewards from the prestige trophies.

I really liked that, unlike in seasons, here you could pick rewards you actually needed. This change is just wtf. Hope that a lot of people will stop subscribing, so they change it back.

After Nerfin Secret Wealth( no more exchanging pet souls for resources), they introduce nerfed map?If they dobt include 20 k emeralds in it. Tgan is big money grab. Tgis rewards are crap.

I wont be buying this one or any others if this continues! The maps WERE a great thing at one time and, well worth the money! Now... They are a joke, and NOT worth looking at let alone spending for!!

Well I just got from 45 Purple chests: 5 x 1 attack pattern 11 x 300 skin stones 3 x insignias 3 x random crystals 4 x 10 exp pots 3 x 10 artifact spheres 1 x 5 greater enchantment runes 2 x 2 exp pots 2 x 150k gold 1 x 20 artifact seals 2 x 1500 artifact skin stones 3 x 100 chaos particles 1 x 150 golden thread 1 x 3 chaos core 2 x 1500 skin stones 1 x red equipment chest Im very happy/carried?! :D

I'm hoping for the 20k emerald. I'm a F2P player and have been saving moves for 2 months for the big emerald payday.

I think how good these new chests are completely depends on drop rates. Still, even best case scenario it's not the best iteration of MI that we've seen before. We'll ultimately see how this works practically, but I don't think it's a great change regardless.

Half baked video with some incorrect comments with very limited analysis (i.e. chest contains are obviously random, missed the 6th tower with 20k emeralds, subscription is still one of the best buy out there). What's the point of a mysterious island if all you do is pick the spots where you know what it contains... so chests were an obvious move from Nexters, and I agree with them
