Production time on finish. Some are just more abrasion resistant due to properties and others because of hardness. Also the machining comes into play. Probably a lot of people knew, but some haven't thought of that.

On their site the TI version is 11,000 baht with S35VN. Based on your review I bought the Maxace Orion Magnacut for 6,700 baht. So I think it IS Hyperexpensive. Am I missing something here? Cheers!

Yes, the information relating the big difference in those price tags for seemingly 2 similar titanium frame locks knives would be the exact material that MC mentioned in the video and that is the fairly decent amount of timascus that the knife has (backspacer, 2 pivot collars, and the fairly large pocket clip). Like he mentions, machining timascus and even just the material itself is quite an expensive increase to any folding knife whether USA or Chinese made. This increase in cost versus the basic titanium Orion from Maxace is justified unfortunately. Look at timascus prices from almost any other OEM and you're looking at usually multiple hundreds of dollars increased and usually for much less than what is on this model.

Recurve does have a practical use actually. It locks the material into the cut. Doesn’t matter if you like it or not the fact is there IS at least 1 practical use. Just saying, not trying to be a dick as I definitely don’t like all recurves but there are some that I like

Compared to realistic competition* is the part you couldn't be bothered to listen to. So many new people are quick on the trigger because social media has trained you not to trust anyone. You don't bother to listen or even look at my other content. I showcase all price ranges on this channel. I have affiliate links with almost every major retailer, so there is literally no incentive to promote one brand over another. This is on purpose and it's the reason this channel sees so much success. I can't be bought with free knives because almost everyone sends me free knives. The people who watch regularly know that. If this price range is out of your budget zone, ignore it and try some of my budget content. My preferred budget knives are sorted into a playlist called "cheap knives I like". It has over 250 individual uploads. I add to it regularly. Next time ask questions. Not all of us are selling paid opinions.
