Love your videos Kevin, and just want to tell you a story. I would really appreciate if you respond. One of the reason I play this game is because of you guys. I put a lot of effort in this story. I don't just want to you this story but others as well so you might find this comment on other KZfaqrs recent video. Want to stay as transparent as possible. I live in India. 100% of the people don't care and 99% of the people are unaware of baseball. (2012) Played my first simulation baseball game, MLB 2K12. (2015) I bought MLB The Show 15 around $80+ from Ebay International Shipping. I played for 20-30 hours with a Closing Pitcher in Road to the Show. I was a NBA 2K player because in real life I play basketball. (2019) MLB The Show 19 went free on PlayStation Plus. I thought I will definitely download and play it. Again, I started with Road to the Show. Closing Pitcher. Played until he was 92 overall. My favorite mode in NBA 2K19 was MyTeam. It was a pay-to-win mode. However, I had a decent team with no money spent and not even much single player grind. I usually defeated god squads. I went 12-0 at least 11 times in 20 tries. At least 4 times, I didn't go 12-0 was because of my internet getting disconnected and frequent power cuts in India. I decided to play Diamond Dynasty in MLB The Show 19. The moment I started completed some single player challenges and played some Ranked Season. Within 10-15 hours I had a great team that could compete against basically anyone, but I was not ready. I only played decent till 700, after that I was always late or early on all pitches. I was using Analog hitting for the whole of MLB The Show 19. Also, meter pitching. I played the mode for 274+ hours. That was achievement for the game considering I never played anything other than basketball games since 2003. It was a great experience because MLB was not pay to win like NBA 2K. I was above .500 playing 200+ games in Ranked. I sucked at Battle Royale and didn't care about events. My starting lineup in the last game of MLB The Show 19 was, C - Mike Piazza 1B - Lou Gehrig 2B - Roberto Alomar 3B - Alex Bregman SS - Ernie Banks LF - Ted Williams CF - Ken Griffy Jr. RF - Christian Yelich I had most of the players except the Battle Royale and World Series rewards. I went 700 twice in Ranked Season while using Analog Hitting. The hate towards NBA 2K was growing because they were ruining their MyTeam mode. Releasing ultra unrealistic cards like O'Neal with 90+ 3pt and Ball Control like a guard. I was done with their MyTeam mode and I switched to Diamond Dynasty. I still prefer Basketball over Baseball but MLB was more fun even though I was losing mostly and making myself look stupid. World Series was just one of the ways that the keeps you engaged but not the only way. It was time for the release of NBA 2K20 and they definitely ruined the game with ultra unrealistic cards and micro-transactions that was not acceptable for me as I was also doing a job. I didn't had much time to play the game so I played MyTeam for a while and abandoned it. In March 2020, MLB The Show 20 was supposed to be released. The game was listed for ₹4000 ($55). It was expensive considering MLB The Show 19 was released for ₹2500 ($34). I thought I would wait for a sale and then buy it considering I got The Show 19 for free and had a lot of fun. I know it's $60 in USA but India's disposable income very low and console gaming isn't a good business here. The game released and immediately the listing was reduced to ₹3000 ($40). I bought it. (2020) I didn't start Road to the Show this time. I went straight to Diamond Dynasty. 'I will make the World Series this year', I thought to myself. I realized after watching videos on KZfaq that to make World Series I have to hit much better. Not just that, I have to use the Zone hitting and Analog pitching. I was already late on all fastballs and early on breaking balls with Analog hitting. How can I hit and adjust vision at the same time? I just setup Zone hitting and Analog pitching after a few Ranked Season which I lost even with Analog hitting. I was .500 in The Show 19 with Analog hitting, over 200 games. This game wasn't cutting me slack. I lost 10 games in row after setting the Zone hitting. I couldn't handle the fast-balls at all and I was on top of all the breaking balls. I don't like practicing offline, I'm OK with losing online because I wasn't gonna make World Series in the first 2-3 months anyway. All of my hitter were hitting less than .200. With Analogue Pitching I was throwing many pitches down the middle. I continued to play online, won a few games on lucky hits. I'm a decent pitcher by the way so I don't give many runs to even some good players (that changed, continue reading). I was below .500 until the mid-aug. I was happy being in the 600-700 in the Ranked Season. One of the reasons I was OK with 600-700, I was playing a little bit of Battle Royale and Events also. I want to have fun while playing a game, if I stress over it better not play it. It was and is still fun. In Battle Royale I was getting better, winning 4 games in a row and also went 11-2. I usually forfeit Battle Royale if I lose one of the first 3 games. I was also doing well in All-Star difficulty events. What those Battle Royale and Events game taught me was the EYE, how not to swing on pitches that were just outside the zone. I took Ranked Seasons seriously again after those Battle Royale and events win. Maybe I'm good at All-Star, and guess what I was good enough to reach 700 in Ranked Season with Zone Hitting and Analogue Pitching. I'm doing quite well on All-Star, winning 70%+ of my games. Sometimes, I get matched up who just hit every ball out of the stadium on All-Star who has made World Series too. From being one of the top players in NBA 2K to someone who has to learn a new sports game. It's tough, people play games for years. I have been playing basketball games since the last 18 years. Story doesn't end here. I have consistently made 750+ in the last 3 months in Ranked Season. I'm around .500 on HOF difficulty in Ranked Season as well. Whenever I'm about to Reach 800, someone comes who hit everything out. I went 790 max and currently I'm 744. However, the thing I struggle with is not Chapman's windup and velocity. I struggle against Walter Johnson, I just can't hit that fast-ball even if I sit on it. Other than that inside fast balls that are 99+ I can't hit (very rarely) and I struggle Righty Righty and Lefty Lefty a lot. If someone could help I would really appreciate it. Other updates, most of my hitters are hitting over .300 but all of them are either Lefty or Switch Hitters. The only Righty that's hitting over .300 is Sheffield but he's a pinch hitter. I can't hit with Trout and Tatis Jr. for that matter. Since I'm playing consistently on Hall of Fame now - it has become a little more difficult on Righty Righty and Lefty Lefty. I was 25+ games below .500 a couple months back but now I'm 10 games above .500. I believe it's an achievement. I won my my last 3 games out of 4 on HOF. The one game I lost was by 1 run in the 9th Inning. I have started making 4-6 runs on HOF as well. Now, I'm confident especially against Lefty Righties and Righty Lefties that I'm not just getting lucky hits, I'm actually able to handle the vision and button together. For Pitching, until I was a bad hitter I was doing quite well but since I have started hitting well, it has gotten worse. Maybe I'm getting matched up with better players. I hope by the end of the year I make World Series. That's what I promised myself. The only way I can make it is if I can handle the inside fast-balls and hit with Mike Trout and Tatis Jr. My Current team (all no money spent, 480 hrs played yet): C - Created Player 1B - Cody Bellinger 2B - Robinson Cano 3B - Chipper Jones SS - Fernando Tatis Jr. LF - Mickey Mantle CF - Mike Trout RF - Larry Walker Bench - Babe Ruth, Eric Thames, Gary Sheffield, Bryce Harper and Craig Biggio. Would love to hear your thoughts on this comments.

Why does kevin never switch players in the field on a fly ball? He probably could've gotten some of those shallow outfield plays if he switched to a middle infielder.
