Today I decided to use 3 Marvel sets and make a ship from one of my favorite games of all time: Star Citizen. A game I cant play much, but one I absolutely love! I took inspiration from the Drake Vulture and created Rocket Raccoon's Vulture Warship!
Apologies for saying "Drake Vulture" 100 times, the vehicle is the "Vulture."
"Drake" is the manufacturer of the ship. I should've just been saying Vulture.

@@BlaiseTM The challenge is using only one set. Like you said, buying two would be prohibitive for most people. I like what you did with this one, buying a relatively cheap set and augmenting it with a small $10 set in the same line.

A good set I feel that could be used to make alternate builds is the moff Gideon light cruiser or the justifier as you could potentially make them both into a star destroyer or base or new ship etc and although they are both expensive sets they could be worth making alternate builds (especially that justifier that could be made into a very good alt build as I feel the original is a fairly bad looking ship)

I do want to make a larger “Star Destroyer” sized Alt Build similar to a LEGO Sized one. Ill try to get one of these and brainstorm a good idea, Im thinking maybe the light cruiser into the corvus from battlefront 2? But that isnt a very large cruiser, just a cruiser

@@BlaiseTM yeah that would be such a good idea tbh I love the design of the corvus from the campaign I can't lie: although a star destroyer would be cool at one point I just can't think of many sets which you could use unless you combined some

You can build alternative build using some Ninjago Dragons Rising sets. I think good Idea will be building alternative builds using polybags

I can see this as some ship for Samus too, always got that vibe from the color scheme of the base Rocket’s Ship and this build is no exception. Idk how Samus would turn to salvaging, unless maybe she went extremely long periods of time away from the Federation and needed parts for repairs, but I like to think the extended hull space would work great for creatures she’s saved or cargo she gathered from a mission.

A cool idea for a single set is, maybe the swamp speeder coming out? When it does I wonder what could be made! And also could you do x2 ambush of ferrixs sets into 1 republic police gunship?

I’d love to see a minifig-scale alternate build using the 501st battle pack or the 332nd pack when it comes out! I used my 501st pack to make a barricade and light artillery cannon

Combining a Rocket Racoon Ship + Lloyd & Arin's Team mech could lead to interesting results - as that set has both articulatable pieces, and complimentary colors As for 1-set alt builds? Sora's Transforming Bike Mech Racer might make some nice alt builds, but I wouldn't know yet as I don't physically have the set yet.

do you have any plans for an alt build of the mandalorian fang fighter vs. tie interceptor set? i have one ordered and am very curious what you would do with either the 2 ships separately or combined, especially because im not the biggest fan of the fang fighter aside from the good pieces

I know this set is retired and I don’t have any instructions for it but the original 501st battle pack you can make a cool tank(with the speeder and atrt) so yeah I hope you can make something similar

@@BlaiseTM Ik ninjago isn’t your thing but ninjago alternate builds would be cool such as”I made a Star Wars spaceship using a ninjago set” or other build challenges featuring ninjago or alternate builds of things from the show or your own made up idea.Hope the suggestions help and I’d love to see something like that.

Redo it by adding 76278 to it, for a lower hull section. That way you can let the cockpit sit higher then the front booms. It also gives you a location for some other stuff. If you can get a more orange version... I do agree that the general shape is quite close. But I think that the big mistake of yours, was only going for TWO 76254. Your wanted ship as two levels, a lower industrial level and a upper cockpit level. You should have gone for at least THREE times 76254, that way you could come closer to your wanted shape AND add in a second set of main engines. And simply by folding them downwards and flush to the upper hull. Bonus if you can let it look like set 76254 is then actually, a detachable cockpit section. And add more hinge points to the front arms, you can clearly see that it has TWO rotation points, use them. Yeah, you really have a point. it does look like it. Fun. 😁
